There's a wee motorhome service point here. Clean and well maintained. A lovely couple of shops to look around too.

Nice, picturesque working harbour in a beautiful setting. Coffee shop, gallery and cafe nearby. Pleasant, conveniently placed benches and picnic tables opposite the gallery and supermarket. Love this place.

Gairloch Harbour is an outstandingly beautiful location which should be enjoyed by visitors. It's changed a lot since I first fished off the 'New pier in the mid 1980's. But you can still see Seals from the comfort of your vehicle if your patience (otters in the past but so sightings this visit). You can book a boat trip to view other Sea Life from the office nearest the pier and buy food and groceries from the local shop. There are electric points for cars and bikes in the main car park. Just remember that although this may look quiet it's still a work fishing port so respect locals and customs."

We called in as a stopover when traveling north. A nice little working harbour. Worth looking at, especially at high tide.

This is a working harbour, however and is marked on the map as Charletown. There is a shop, cafe, and walks to the beach 1km. At the habour masters office there is black / grey water disposal, fresh water (for campervans) The fresh water pipe is at the back of the habour masters office (yellow hose), please put it back tidy and place some cash in the honesty box. There are toilets next to the harbour masters office with waste bins.

Great spot to empty black waste at their elson point and fill up with fresh water for a donation. Should be more places like this. Also offer boat trips.
