Ricky was amazing. He DJ’d for my husband’s surprise 40th birthday party. Everything was brilliant from the communication and support before the event to reading the rooms and playing the sort of music to get everyone dancing on the night itself. Can’t recommend Ricky highly enough.

We hired DJ Ricky Gold for our wedding reception and he was absolutely brilliant.The planning stage and online profile made the process of choosing songs and orders to play them in so easy. We organised a Zoom call and Ricky went over all the details, ideas and he also gave great advice.The set up at the venue was quick and got the music started right on time.All of Ricky's equipment was professional and really made the night, he played a cracking mix of music to get everyone up and enjoying themselves.Really appreciated how approachable Ricky is to last minute changes to the tunes and everyone got something played they wanted, again a really professional set up. Ricky had everything requested and mixed the music well even across all the different genres.Ricky really made the night amazing, everyone loved it. We would highly recommend Ricky and if in the future we need a DJ I'll definitely be booking him again.

DJ Ricky was absolutely brilliant at our 40th Birthday party last week. The set was just perfect and exactly what we had envisaged for our 1920's theme party. DJ Ricky played lots of great tunes suitable for our age group!! and also did requests. The dance floor was full of lots of energetic dancing! We have had so many comments from people about how much they enjoyed themselves. Thank you so much Ricky for making our party so fun and a night to remember!

DJ Ricky Gold is an awesome DJ! Everyone needs him at their party! From the first moments of communication he was so professional, helpful and keen to provide the best night for me. He went above and beyond in terms of support and organisation. The music was brilliant , the Photo Booth and props were a massive hit and I would highly recommend him!

We booked DJ Ricky Gold for my 30th birthday party and all my guests and myself had the best evening. When we arrived at the venue he was already there and set up, so we didn’t have to worry about anything. Ricky was a great DJ from start to finish and read the room and knew exactly what to play. He was very professional and called me a week before the event and spoke about the different song choices and timings of the evening. I was able to supply a playlist of the songs I wanted played throughout the evening and from that Ricky was able to create a whole playlist with the same style songs, as well as taking requests too! Ricky filmed the dance floor and took pictures which was lovely to then be able to play back after the event and he has even created a video from all the clips he took on the evening and sent that over which was absolutely brilliant! I would highly recommend DJ Ricky Gold for any party or event!

We booked Ricky Gold to DJ our Wedding at MacDonald Elmers Court Hotel & Resort in Lymington earlier this month (June 2023).

During our initial planning meeting over Zoom, we discussed music and our love for the 90s and 00s.

Our dream was to end the night with a 2 hour rave featuring Euro Dance/Trance hits of the 90s and 00s and incorporate some UV lighting and glowsticks. We also wanted to ensure other guests were catered for earlier in the evening and requested Ricky create us a list of cheesy 90s and 00s party hits to go with our 90s / 00s theme e.g. Backstreet Boys, Macarena, Five etc.

After our initial planning meeting we created our favourite songs list using Ricky's Client Portal. We also entered additional details into his planning form to explain fully what we wanted / didn't want from our wedding disco.The client portal was a fantastic addition as we could completely plan our evening and how we wanted it to go. We could choose our taste and genre of music, what could and couldn’t be played and what time certain songs like our first dance should be played as well.This also allows you to make payments quick and easy, made communication very easy with swift replies and made planning the evening very easy and stress free.Regarding the music, we could not have been more impressed with the choice of music that was played at the beginning of the evening for everyone to dance and this was left in the hands of the DJ all that we asked was it could only be 90’s & 00’s dance and cheesy as this would of been what we were listening to in our clubbing prime and where we first met which he done an amazing job with as the dance floor was never empty and we got to re-live our youth. I really couldn’t think it could get any better until he went into fully swing for our rave part of the evening when the songs and mixing were flawless, with the addition of glow sticks it made it an unforgettable night. Also this is all recorded for you to listen to again when you feel the urge to get your dancing shoes on.This was all enhanced by the array of lighting that was supplied as part of the package. There’s normally dark parts of a room but in this case this was cured by the addition of uplighting which really set the room off. These could also be colour coded to suit your needs so we had blue in the first part of the evening matching our colour theme for the wedding then multi coloured for the later raving part of the evening which really took us back to our clubbing days.A really good option is the video recording which is filming all night so you get to re-live the day over and over.

Ricky recently DJ'd at my wedding and we were very impressed with all aspects of his service from start to finish.We were looking for a DJ who had a passion for dance music (new and old) so added our details to Add to Event and he promptly contacted us. After having a look at his website we decided to meet up with Ricky and he outlined what he could offer us and how he could help make it our dream wedding party, at a very reasonable price.After this chat it was a no brainer for us and once we confirmed, Ricky set up a client portal for us where we could upload the tracks we wanted him to play onto a playlist, make payments and input the finer details surrounding the evening. This process worked very well and was incredibly easy to use.We decided to add on the video recording of the evening party. I would certainly recommend this as you've always got it to look back on, and it provides a few laughs/embarrassing moments that you may have forgotten about. We also decided to go for a personalised branding board with our names/date of wedding on which was well designed. He also offers photo booths.The quality of the equipment/lighting he used was to a high standard and created a great party atmosphere for us (he has a range of different lighting options for people to choose from).Me and my wife love festivals and felt Ricky could relate to this and he really knew what we were looking for with the overall vibe. The party included EDM, Drum n Bass, Trance and Ibiza Anthems.We were very happy that we chose Ricky as our wedding DJ and certainly wouldn't hesitate using him in the future for any other special occasions.
