Co-op Food - Elworth - Lawton Way

A handy shop with most things including a cashpoint. Ample parking unless there's an event on at the school behind it. Niggles are the variety of choice on some items - examples would be no skimmed filtered milk and about 15 options of Cheddar cheese but no Double Gloucester (unless you want onions and chives in it). Other than that, it saves battling town centre traffic and is a handy local resource.

Locked my keys in boot of my car. Manager kindly ran me home to pick up my spare set. Mike I think he's name was. Very friendly and helpful, not like the assistant manager, who is moody and not very friendly.

Very well stocked shop with essentials & treats. Enough room to use shopping trolleys so aisles are wider compared to other smaller co-ops. Friendly staff who usually go out of their way to help. Great vegetarian & vegan options. Spacious car-park.

Decent shop with good choice although the prices have gone up quite eyewateringly. Shame the car park gets taken up by the school at certain times.

Better than the smaller one in terms of the quantity of items, which is what you would expect out of a bigger shop, however it still has the same issue that the item you want/need is either fully in stock or there is nothing. Best to go before the rush ours if you want something.

Ever since it was a kwick save in the 1970s this handy shop has been the business. It is still very convenient and braided names. Good product's and fair prices.

Compared to the smaller branch on Middlewich Rd, they're hopeless. Always massive queues, only one person on the till (who's normally trying to process a parcel) & some members of staff very rude.....he knows what his name is! Having said that, blonde middle age lady on checkout is lovely.

I love a good co-op but this one is downright rude. Myself, my partner and son were going in together but me and him were paying separately as he needed some things for work. I was rudely told by staff that we all must leave and come in not as a group and to leave my son outside with my partner while I shop.Now I’m sorry but that is unfair, my partner is not my sons dad and I was treating my son to a sweet but now couldn’t because he wanted to choose.We left and went to the smaller one down the road where staff made no comment on us being together and we’re actually very helpful when we couldn’t find somethingWe now do not go to this coop only the smaller one.

Staff brilliant. Nice, friendly and helpful. Co op itself though is extremely overpriced, even the reduced items. Have seen staff shopping at other supermarkets so that speaks for itself i think.
