Ask for a service on a bike , with two inner tube replacements. Just found out this evening 8weeks later no inner tubes in place

This guy saved the day. I live in France and was visiting my parents when they were camping nearby. I had cycled from the Brittany Ferries terminal at Portsmouth but a few miles outside Bognor I snapped one of my spokes on a pothole. Made such a refreshing change to come into this shop and have the chap say he would have it done in an hr and give the wheel a proper true for 8 quid. Couldn't have done more to help me and even let me store my panniers in the shop while I went for a coffee. Makes me realise how important it is to support your local bike shop. Top customer service.

Well done Spokes. My 5 years old son had a chain link snap. To do this all other major bike shops such as Halfords, Evans cycles and quest couldn't do it on the day or needed the bike for days. I took it in, saw Colin he told me to pop back in 30 mins. £8. All done. He was even building other bikes at the time so he had things to do.I don't understand why all these other companies can't just offer good service. I know it's not a big job and worth much money but it is about customers.Well done Colin and Spokes. Will use them every time now. A very happy 5 year old was riding his bike the day after breaking it.

I recently bought a second hand bike to help me get out and lose some of the extra weight I have acquired during lockdown. Andrew has done a first class job of fitting new tyres and servicing the bike and also changed an overlong handlebar stem which he correctly diagnosed to be giving me some problems with my riding position. It feels so much better now and it was a bonus for it to have been cleaned as well. Spokes is a proper old fashioned bike shop and Andrew is friendly and super competent.

Andrew did a great job on my sons old bike using used bits, to keep the costs down for me. Very much appreciated. ....I had tried Halfords before, and they wanted to charge me over £200 just to fix it. Andy did the job for £70 . It works great now!

Brilliant. Replaced the inner tubes and valves on my special needs Grandson’s wheelchair tyres in next to no time. Very friendly and gave very good advice. Thank you very much.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED....went in for replacement tyres and tubes and told didn't need tyres and why..could have easily charged for tyres and I'd been none the wiser..HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
