Beautiful woodland for a walk, ideal for dog walking. Parking at the visitor centre, with picnic area and toilets.

Wonderful place to visit, most of the footpaths are level however there are steps and some uneven ground in places, the sound of the birds and water make for a magnificent soundtrack, the carpark is £1 for all day but beware the road to/from it is relatively steep, particularly at the top where the junction which made our exit difficult due to the wet conditions and worn road, it could do with resurfacing to help with traction, there are toilets but they were shut when we went (Sunday morning) overall a lovely place and one I'm looking forward to going back to

Absolutely beautiful walk especially during autumn! Great for mushroom spotting, lots of different paths to take. Highly recommend this, easy walk suitable for children.

Vast area to go on walks. The waterfall is the best part of it all.

What a beautiful place. Wonderfully peaceful, even on a scorchingly hot day. The trees kept us lovely and cool whilst hiking. The only downside was the 'lovely' dog poo bags of various colours hanging from bushes trees or just left on the sides of the paths. There should have been dog poo bins provided. And it was a shame that the toilets were not open (I've since found out that they are permanently closed) Definitely a place to revisit in the Autumn. Well done The Woodland Trust
