After my local music shop had closed they're workshop I was given the contact information for Steve. He answered the phone and was immediately friendly and helpful. He took my Guitar the same day and was ready the next day. He was very welcoming when I arrived brought me to the workshop to discuss the job. He's got a great tool selection and clearly takes pride in what he does. I wouldn't think twice about taking any of my Guitars to him again and look forward to doing business with him again in the future .

I approached Steve for the first time earlier this year for a set up and a couple of weeks later for a pickup install, he was very welcoming, listened to and answered every question and really got a feel for what sound I was going for. I highly recommend Steve Ward, his prices are also very reasonable.

Steve Ward is an absolute wizard at repairing amps, guitars and various other bits of musical equipment.He has kept myself and many musician friends on the gig road with his knowledge and expertise, even going as far as not charging for his services during the pandemic.A truly wonderful human being and a very dear friend.Also makes an excellent cup of tea.

Steve undertook a refret of my maple board 80s Strat and really went above and beyond. His care and attention to detail really stand out, and the guitar now plays and sounds better than it ever has. Top rate workmanship, super fast turnaround and very fair pricing - if you're reading this you'd be daft to look anywhere else for guitar or amp work.
