BAO Marylebone
Lovely place!Would definitely recommend! Very authentic tasty food and the food arrived very quickly. The service wasn’t anything special but we still got everything we needed, a bit more welcoming staff members would be nice. The space is a bit small and cramped, so you feel like you are actually in Asia.We enjoyed ourselves for sure, will probably visit again at some point in the future. Would recommend.

I spent very pleasant evening in Bao. Staff was very hostile from the moment I entered the room. Food was well described by a person who was taking my order, so my pain with „what should I order” was over fast. Dishes were served in the order I asked for, and were absolutely stunning. These are not mindblowing composition, rather simple, but food is made freshly and high quality. The surprise of dinner for me were house pickles - super tasty. Booking is probably very wise thing to do before coming here.

Second BAO location for me (1st was in Soho) and I left very content once more! We ordered a mix of vegetarian (me) and meat (my friend) dishes but this time just one BAO, we wanted to explore the rest of the menu and it was - of course - a great experience. The mushroom dumplings are among the most tasty dumplings I ever had; we sat by the counter overlooking the kitchen and saw the crew making them! The shrimps BAO was worth me being flexible on my vegetarian diet: so buttery, almost like a savoury donut as my friend put it and oh boy he was right! Another highlight was the beef and the creamy marinated egg (my friend had it and he is a foodie so trust me completely). Service wise: as we were looking directly into the kitchen we inquiry about a dish we couldn’t recognise; minutes later the lovely chef brought it to us as a FOC! We were speechless. In conclusion, BAOs are amazing but do not forget about the rest of the menu!

The overall experience brought me back to the years of my life living in Taiwan. Bao buns are perfect, light and fluffy. Everything is delicious though we have our favourites--duck bao is so tasty and the salted egg custard just blew my mind. For beer lovers, their special beer is a must try!

BAO is my favourite restaurant franchise in London and their Marylebone branch was just wonderful. I ordered the BAO15 for an early dinner and everything was so yum! The serving sizes were also just right. My fave was the Classic Bao but the Taiwanese fried chicken with hot sauce and the mushroom dumplings were also delicious. The service with impeccable and the vibes were top tier. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you!

The baos were really delicious!! We especially liked the classic and prawn ones. Next time I would only order baos and maybe some starter, since we found the dumplings a bit disappointing. The sacha ages beed rump rice with smoked egg was also very good!Congratulations to the waitress, she was incredibly nice to us!

Great food and service as always. The dumplings were nice but honestly not my first pick. To me the fillings of the beef dumplings were a bit too salty and cover up the sauce. The small plates stand out more, especially the beef tendon nuggets. Also the soy braised Lu Wei mushroom was amazing! Overall a lovely experience and would visit again!

Authentic Taiwanese food, recommend classic bao and soy braised tofu rice, the pearl in the bubble milk tea is a bit hard but the milk tea is good, there is a lunch set from Monday to Friday

+ this is definitely the best lunch I had in London. The food is absolutely excellent. Every item on the menu is just delicious and I really get the hype. The ingredients are fresh and well balanced together.I'll be back for sure. Excellent.Service was great too !- minus 1 star for the fact that yes the food is the best you'll have, but the portions are in fact very small :(( this was really a let down. Also it gets very crowded.
