Usual one of underground station in London. Ticket office n ticket machines. Hammersmith & Circle lines service that station. Just in front of Farringdon train station for better links to Bedford, Gatwick, Brighton or soon for Heathrow too by Crossrail. Plenty of eating or drinking places around.

the best station in zone 1! lovely 20th century facade on one side and lovely modern, spacious design on the other. the platforms are well connected and have a nice open feel to them, and the Johnson memorial is very cool. there's lots of history in the area and the pedestrianised section in front makes it a very pleasant place to be. I would give it six stars if I could.

This is a great tube station that I frequent. It is noticeably cleaner than other stations which is nice to see.The improvements brought by Crossrail can be seen and the new line will be very exciting. The signage at this station is very clearly labelled and easy to navigate.Alwaus friendly TFL staff at hand at any time of the day or night.

Elizabeth Line is Open! And wow! What a station this is, new pristine platforms and a brilliant long train that is very hard to get overcrowded! It is amazing! The Thameslink platforms can be a bit narrow especially towards the back end of the station, which does knock it off the rankings by a bit but the easy quick access to the London Underground is remarkable and not only that but also the easy access to the Elizabeth Line! 1 lift straight down. The London Underground is basically the same and the platforms aren't as narrow as Thameslink's are in some areas. The Elizabeth line is completely new and has a similar style station to Tottenham Court Road, #PURPLETRAIN WOO!, We are loving this line! And it makes travel from stations like this so much more efficient. The platforms are super long and there is an entrance and exit at barbican that includes an incline lift which are super cool and a lot less scary then a normal lift!Overall, This station is wonderful and is very safe and easy to access and I would highly recommend using it, if you are thinking of a new route!

Farringdon has gone from under used Thameslink and tube stop on the edge of the city to a mega transport hub in just a few years.Every train on the Metroploitan, Hammersmith & City and Circle lines tube stops here, on platforms 1 & 2. On the adjacent platforms 3 & 4, every Thameslink service through central London, from Bedford, Cambridge, Peterborough and Luton Airport north of London to Brighton, East Grinstead, Horsham, north Kent and Gatwick Airport in the south. Crossing this at right angles and an escalator ride below is the Elizabeth link, linking east and west London with Heathrow airport. You can probably travel nearly 30 miles in all directions on just your Oyster card from here. A well connected hub

New Elizabeth Line. Amazing architecture, tube is brand new. Air conditioned inside the tube. Larger train than other tubes around London.

Farringdon is a major through station in the heart of London. It has London Underground (Circle, H&C and Metropolitan lines), Elizabeth line services and Thameslink services to a wide range of locations. It has 2 entrances opposite each other, one for the London Underground lines and one for Thameslink and Elizabeth line services.Farringdon is quite a nicely designed station, mixing the old with the new. It is quite clean and has step free access to all services in the station.
