After 7 months of waiting and dealing with endless delays and lies...This...I am writing to thank you for the pre-order you placed with County Broadband.Unfortunately, after careful consideration, we regret to inform you that it is not going to be feasible for us to extend our network to your property ... at this point in time.I am sure this will be as much of a disappointment for you, as it is for us. As a growing network, the last thing we want to do is cancel orders. This decision has been based purely on commercial viability...Rest assured, no charges have been applied, and any Direct Debit instruction that may have been set-up in advance, along with your order, will be cancelled.Our Customer Service team will not have any additional information or be able to answer questions relating to this decision.Our team conducted a thorough planning exercise, ... but regrettably, given the above, we simply could not make this project work under in the current economic climate. This is not to say this situation may not change in future, but as things stand today, we are writing to confirm that it is with considerable regret we will not be able to fulfil your pre-order for service at this time.... While we have benefitted ... from Government funded vouchers ... So far, we have invested over £100m of private equity into our build programme. In each case, the cost of building each village network takes many years to recover. The decision not to proceed with your order has only been reached after a detailed feasibility study, which included a review of the increasing costs of capital and the rising costs of labour as well as consideration of the current and future competitive landscape and the practicalities of extending our network to your property. With these rising costs in mind, we have had to be mindful of balancing our ambition to grow our network, with the need to do so in a sustainable way.We understand this is disappointing news, and we want to be transparent, allowing you to choose the best available broadband service for your property. County Broadband have trespassed on our land and whipped up a fibre line that hangs over our drive with no permission what so ever. Very inclined to climb up with a pair of tin snips at at moment as have called 8 times to the support line and have had zero response or communication. Not happy.Also never have had subsidies from BT or County Broadband for the 4 poles on the land.
