Lovely McDonald's. Much better than the one closer to me in Swadlincote. Staff always provide good service and food preparation is good.Would recommend if you're from the area and need a decent McDonald's.

Firstly, this McDonald's is very well hidden behind a petrol station. I only found it because I was specifically looking for a McDonald's nearby the zoo, and I followed the google maps sat-nav.Secondly, I wish I never found it. Over 30 years and many branches in many countries in various continents, this is by far the worst one I've been to. It's a zero really, and I've only given a two because big corps have been getting my ones taken off here.Ordered via the app, got table service. From the way the servers came up, you could tell how annoyed they were at that. Shouldn't offer a service if they can't handle it.I had a Cheeseburger, and it took me by surprise how cold it was when I touched it. I've previously ordered Cheeseburgers and kept them a while before eating (I know it's not nice), but still never had one this cold before.Here was the real kicker though, I ordered my drink with no ice. Whenever I do this, I get a full cup of chilled drink. Not this time, they gave me less than a half cup of lukewarm fizz-less Coke zero.My wife got up to complain but I stopped her because what's the point? They would probably give us something they'd messed with, they looked like those kind of workers from their attitudes.Also a lot of mozzies flying around so I got dined on as I dined.Genuinely swerve this branch if you can, don't be tempted by it's proximity to the zoo, travel to the next closest one.

Very fast response with positive customer service. The layout is spacious and trendy. Could do with a little more space outside however the food quality is great.

Usual Mc ds. Was a busy morning. But breakfast was served very quickly. And they were busy to be fair. Seemed clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. Would use again and would recommend.

Stopped off during journey. Lots of seating available. Ordered via touchscreen ordering point. Food came very quickly and was warm and tasty. Excellent value. Really good McDonald's have used in the past when in area and it usually a good place to stop off for a quick meal to recharge. Good toilets very clean.

Coke is vile, tomato sauce not great, very acidic, and they could do with some mayonnaise sachets!The cheesy bites are yummy though.

Always a pleasure to stop here. I travel north to south alot and look forward to my break. The food is quick and the staff very pleasant. The place is clean and tidy a credit to the cleaners.

Probably the cleanest McDs I've ever been to. It was absolutely spotless. Food and coffee was fresh and tasty. As a bonus it had a couple of EV chargers in the car park, so topped up the car while having a nice break in clean safe surroundings.
