The Eston Surgery

Absolutely terrible service from the receptionists. The receptionists, I'm not sure if they have a God complex (usually reserved for doctors), seemed to do whatever they could to gatekeep my medical results from me. That's insane. I eventually got the answer after being told 'it doesn't make a difference' but, Christ, it was like pulling teeth.Completely absurd. If a patient asks for information that pertains to their own health they should be given that information no questions asked.

The first come first served system is horrible, been calling since the phone lines opened for 20 minutes, took 177 tries to get through only to be told all appointments gone and call back tomorrow.Now I have to run the gauntlet tomorrow again of constant calling in hope I get through before some other poor bugger.Terrible set up.

Only been at this doctor surgery for a short space of time and the way the receptionist spoke to my partner this afternoon was unacceptable. We have never had to go down to put a repeat prescription in when been at other surgery’s the doctor has put them on repeat and we just collect from the pharmacy.

Just a reminder that this surgery is a disgusting disgrace of an establishment. Literally in the surgery on Friday talking to the doctor with a chest infection and vomiting for two weeks and the GP wouldn't give 2 more minutes. Insisting you make another appointment on Monday. So rather than sleeping to maintain some health you drag yourself up at 8am and ring them non-stop for two hours unable to get through. When you eventually get through the total amoeba of a receptionist crows 'we've been open since 8, and no, there's no appointments. You'll have to try again tomorrow.'Of course they don't care, the GP still gets his cheque the practice manager still gets her cheque because they're rewarded for the shockingly tardy and inhumane way they conduct their business. And it is a business at Eston Surgery. They couldn't care less about helping people.

From my experience they never really helped me a part from walk in section when was before... Them doctors or anyone how's instead doctor are not competent or don't care about patients ... Just tick the box

Changed to this GP and I was spoken to like a POS because they don't like the medication I've been on for nearly 10 years. Great way to treat a veteran that struggles with mental health.

GPs are excellent and I have always found the practice staff accommodating and friendly, couldn’t ask for better service

My daughter was given telephone appointment . No on rang her it took .e two days of constant timing to get someone to answer phone . If the line was free the phone call was terminated then constantly engaged. I will be making a complaint

This phoning up at 8am is absolutely flawed. why does this surgery think that everyone will be able to firstly wake up at 8am.and then sit next to your phone from 9am up to 6pm for the doctor to ring you with the telephone appointment 9 am to 6pm that's nine hours. I have anxiety and depression so i don't sleep well so i find it impossible to Wake up to make an appointment. And then I have to stay awake with my phone glued to me. There's no way i can do this. (DRASTIC CHANGES ARE NEEDED TO FIND AN ALTERNATIVE WAY TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS)
