Vision Express Opticians at Tesco - Coventry Phoenix

They are a good optometrist. However, I was announced that they didn’t message me that my contact lens prescription was expiring.

The optician was brilliant, she was so friendly and put you at ease during your eye test. However the sales member of staff let it down. She was chewing gum and pushed for me to buy new frames even though I said I wanted to keep my old ones. I understand she needs to push for a sale but she wasn’t too friendly. She wasn’t too friendly throughout the process and didn’t make me want to go back to that particular store again.

I was served by Dani in Cannon Park, she was top notch and made me feel fabulous! From helping choose frames that suited me to advice on lens colours to match my skin tone etc , she was terrific and an asset to the store. The optician was brilliant too and explained everything clearly. The best eye services I've experienced since I started wearing glasses aged 13 and that was in the 80's.

I would just like to thank everyone at vision express today especially the optician. I took my mum for her eye test and she has dementia and you were all wonderful I realise it took such a long time but none Rushed her and we never felt like we were in the pleat. Thank you for your patience the service was outstanding Sue x

I came to get my eyes tested, as I’ve not had them tested for years and my vision has been gradually getting worse. The service was so professional and fast, everyone was really polite and helpful. Especially Luke, he gave me some helpful advice to accommodate for my bridge piercing and made sure I got the best possible deal, even when my credit declined (after having issues with my phone provider) really approachable and friendly. After seeing through lenses I couldn’t believe the clarity difference in my sight, I look forward to getting my glasses and returning to the store again!

Very proactive attentive staff at this place. I had a good experience, was helped by Pavan. 12/10 customer service by him.

Went for an eye and contact lens check on Sunday at Specsavers and I was very impressed with the service I received from Daniel . He suggested I needed some eye drops which zi purchased . The next day I tried to use them and couldn’t get them working so I returned to the shop today and explained I couldn’t work the bottle and could I have a different type of bottle that I could use . I was told that they wouldn’t do that as I had opened the bottle but of course Zi did only to find it wouldn’t work . He squinted it on his had which Zi could do , however when it was over my eye it would not work . He asked a colleague who I assumed was in charge and he didn’t even lift his eyes up . He just said no .I was upset by his attitude and left the shop and went to the pharmacy in Tesco who very kindly showed me how it worked . Just a little kindness and customer care was all that was needed . I won’t be going back to specsavers where I have contact lenses and 2 pairs of glasses . I hope someone learns something from this review .

Went in and waited whilst my wife had her eye test. Staff generally seemed good and attentive.However, the person dealing with my wife got the measurements wrong and they had to be all changed and tried twice to push for new expensive frames when they weren't needed. I feel that you could be made to feel like you need to spend a lot more money.

Was very impressed with the high level of customer service both me & my son received when we went for our eye tests. The staff were all very polite & kind, especially to my little boy, as it was his first eye test & he was a bit nervous, but the staff put him at ease & I couldn't be happier with the service we received. Will definitely recommend vision express to friends & family.
