Beautiful place to go for walks. We arrived too late so we couldn't visit the house but we enjoyed the gardens.

Mottisfont's Walled Rose Garden
A great place to visit with the family. Plenty of parking but would advise to get there early when the weather is nice. The gardens are beautiful you can see Irises in May and June is when the roses are in bloom.The house is full of history and worth a visit was interesting to find out how much smaller it is now than when it was built.Plenty of places to sit and and to have refreshments and a great shop.

Beautiful rose gardens at there best in June. Plentiful parking. Entrance and parking free to NT members. Three cafes serving the standard NT fare. There is also a lovely walk along a trout filled chalk stream. House also open and often has art exhibitions.Well worth a visit.

Lovely place to visit especially at this time of year now all the roses are out. Full of colour and life. Along with the rest of Mottisfonts amazing grounds and walks.

Mottisfont's Walled Rose Garden
What a fabulous place to go on your birthday!! Arrived early and enjoyed a wonderful walk around the grounds, including the Walled Rose Garden. Followed it up with a cup of tea and a scone in the NT tea rooms.Mottisfont Abbey (near Romsey, Hampshire) grounds, gardens, and house was certainly a high point on this special day (67th birthday) despite the light rain.Would highly recommend.

Beautiful gardens to visit in the Autumn . The house was extremely interesting , with a few quirky features . Don't miss the crocodile !

Mottisfont's Walled Rose Garden
Visited the walled rose garden toward the end of the June just as the roses were going over. There was still plenty to see and the garden looked gorgeous. Well worth a visit. Avoid Fridays and weekends if you want a quieter experience.

Mottisfont's Walled Rose Garden
Apparently it's best to visit in May/June to see the very best of the bloom, but it's beautiful any time of year. We went too late in the year last year and although there were still some lovely flowers, it wasn't at its best. Today was a different story, it was absolutely stunning!

Mottisfont's Walled Rose Garden
Beautiful walks in the gardens. The house house is definitely worth visiting.4 cafes. Lots of seating. People also there with picnics. Walk along the river, loads of fish. Very picturesque.
