Cheeky Barrels

Do not order from this company. They will not process your refund, took 2.5 monts to return the item. Everyday making false promises that they would call with an update and that it would be done. Still waiting for my money back.

I bought 1000kg of broken up barrel bits for firewood. I was charged £80 including delivery.The pieces were quite small (around 200mm in length) which has several impacts for us and why I elected to give them a try.Because they are small the bag is properly full" with no dead space that you associate with such a bag full of logs.Because they are small they will fit in my home stove and portable camping stove easily.I measured the water content and several random pieces on the top and all were under 20%.All in all I am very pleased with the purchase and will reorder as soon as I have space!"

1 month after ordering a barrel, several emails (no response) and phone calls (no answer) I think it’s a scam..

Avoid avoid avoid!! If I could give zero stars I would!! Starts with promises that my barrel has been dispatched then escalates to ignoring calls, messages and emails. Have had to submit a claim through PayPal. Untrustworthy and very unprofessional.

Ordered a barrel on the 9th June (now the 20th) not responding to emails or phone calls. Don't use!!!!

I haven't received my order and I cannot contact them, so will need to escalate as Im £430 down at the moment.

Spoke to this company about hiring furniture for my wedding. They constantly spoke to me about sending over a quote however never did. After reading these reviews, I feel like I’ve dodged a bullet!

Placed our order for an unvarnished barrel on Thursday, by Monday it was delivered!Communication was thorough and rapid, couldn’t be happier with the barrel and the service given! 5 ⭐️ all the way!

Ordered and paid for a barrel before Christmas. No contact from them despite emailing them. Definitely a fraud site

Not recommended. I ordered the top quality square tabletop made from barrel staves and 4 stools. When I received my order it was a barrel with just a piece of square wood on top that had not even been sanded or painted. I wasn't happy with this but as it was a gift for my other half, following an illness, and he liked it, I agreed to keep it but with a refund for the difference between the basic item and what I paid. Plus these things are very heavy and it was so difficult to move. The stools are really uncomfortable, there is nowhere for your feet to rest and they are not sanded either so you get snags on clothing and charcoal marks. Two weeks later and the table top has split down the centre and cannot be used at all. I asked for a replacement, was told delivery today, but nothing has arrived. No phone call or email. Not bothering anymore.
