My mother received an unsolicited phone call saying they had taken over the service contract as the previous solar company had gone bust. They insisted that my mum make an appointment for a free service, despite her telling them she had it serviced already a few months before, the woman would not let my mum get off the phone without agreeing. I emailed to cancel the appointment and ask a few questions but got no response. The woman then had the cheek to phone the day before to confirm the appointment, she received the sharp end of my um’s tongue for her trouble after I had told my mother about my findings about this company. I would never recommend this company and advise anybody to research them on companies house as they do not even seem like a real company with no accounts, one member of staff/director and previously registered as a call centre. Be careful.

Scam. They are very rude and pushy whilst trying to confuse elderly into believing they need their services. They need to be shutdown.

I would give your employee Tom Bellamy 6 stars, were it possible. Credit to whoever appointed him. He left no stone unturned in order to rectify a very intricate sequence of faults. He is a great advocate for the company. He is utterly delightful. respectful, diligent and a pleasure to have working in yourcustomers' homes,

Cold calling vulnerable people registered with the telephone preference service and pushing for in person appointments to look at solar installations.Very unethical as a business practice and clearly not an isolated incident as well reported on “who’s called” type websites, in some cases listing the entire business as a scam.Would avoid any unsolicited contact from this business

I cannot praise and recommend this company enough! They initially fitted a voltage optimiser for me last December and called to do a check on my system in July. I had storage batteries fitted by another company in August ‘21 to complement my solar panels, but raised concerns with them that the system wasn’t working as it should be, calls to the company that had fitted the batteries had proved fruitless! It took three visits from Karl, David and finally Steve, who spent over 3hrs sorting out the system that had been incorrectly wired in, meaning that no solar power was going into the batteries, so they were only charging from the grid. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without these guys coming to my rescue, David was so dedicated to the problem, he even messaged me from his holiday to ask if everything had been sorted! This is the only company that I would trust in my house, they are one of the few that have integrity and dedication to do a job well and their problem solving is second to none.If you’re having problems with your solar/battery system then you need to give DLBEC a call!

After a free inspection, DLBEC proposed a proactive change of an old inverter on an existing PV system, plus addition of a voltage reducer, for my elderly parents. On further consideration, and with a second opinion, we decided to cancel the job at late notice, which they did immediately refunding the deposit. The company was polite and courteous throughout, but the job did not seem necessary at the time, or good value. I would always recommend to others to get a second opinion before such expensive jobs.

An elderly lady I know was conned by them. They are registered as a call centre on companies house when they portray themselves as an electrical installation company. All seems very fishy and I would be very careful if you or your elderly relatives are approached by them.

They came to our rescue to correct & re wire a battery solar system that had been set up incorrectly. The original installers were incompetent & refused to answer or reply to any of our calls & emails to rectify. The system is now working as designed, after 3-4 months of not performing, as expected.We would highly recommend DLBEC to any one, as they were efficient, professional & caring.
