St Peter's Church, Eaton Square

Lovely church, very nice / modern decor inside, massive and beautiful organ.Saw the BBC choir there, sound was amazing.

I've been a member of the congregation here for more than 25 years, so this isn't a tourist's opinion. The church may or may not suit your visual taste as it burnt to the ground more than 30 years ago and has been restored in a very open, modern style. The organ is magnificent, a lot of organ for the space. The choir at the Sung Eucharist (11.15am Sundays and other holy days) is just stupendous while the Family Eucharist (9.45 Sundays) is relaxed and very welcoming of families with children. I find the community life-enhancing and the spirit of St Peter's very welcoming. If you're in this part of town, do come visit us. PS There's an active schedule of AA meetings here for those seeking a supportive fellowship.

St. Peter's Church, Eaton Square is a Church of England parish church at the east end of Eaton Square, Belgravia, London. It is a neoclassical building designed by the architect Henry Hakewill with a hexastyle portico with Ionic columns and a clock tower. On 19 October 1991 The Times newspaper wrote St Peter’s must now rank as one of the most beautiful churches in London". It is a Grade II* listed building."

A wonderful concert by The Whitehall Choir with the Dionysus Ensemble in Faure's Requiem and other choral pieces. A spacious, bright, airy church with superb acoustics and organ. Great value for money, too.

I went to a wedding ceremony there. Beautiful service. The pastor was wonderful. The music wasn't particularly good. A whole verse to a hymn was missed. The organ has an open plan, where all the mechanics are exposed. As a musician I don't find this to be the proper care for something so expensive and important to the church.

Only visited for parking. Booked on line. Very convenient and reasonably priced considering location

The church is located near a vet beautiful square and it is surrounded by gorgeous buildings. It is a pleasure to have a stroll around. Nearby you can find Victoria Station, Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. There are also some pretty nice pubs.
