Petasfield Riding School

This is a Pony Club stable yard and also offer BHS courses. There is something here for everyone, whether you are a beginner or more advanced, want to learn general riding skills, learn to jump or simply hack out. All the horses and ponies here are happy and expertly cared for. The yard is well organised and, more importantly, clean. Everything has a place. Everyone is friendly and it is clear that everyone has fun. The perfect place to practise your equine skills.

A small stables whose riders are obviously happy and loyal. It’s a long waiting list if you’re not already a customer. As a fairly experienced adult who hoped to go out hacking, I waited 3 years and then stopped waiting without ever riding. I’ve done quite a lot of walking/hiking in this local area and it’s gorgeous countryside with quiet roads and plenty of bridleways. They are pretty good at keeping in touch with their waiting list and a few children’s places came up over the years.

I learnt to ride here and now I’m taking my daughter here to learn to ride. Petasfield is extremely welcoming and will make you feel comfortable. Our riding slot is the favourite part of our week.
