You have to be a member, or a guest of a member, to be able to go in and order wonderful, warm scones with generous servings of jam and cream. Lovely!

Went for a luncheon meeting. A venerable women's club for members only. It can also be rented for functions. Food was expensive for what it was: £14 for one item on a list that included a salad, a bowl of soup, a plate of risotto and a burger, and coffee or tea. The main thing is it's a safe location and base in London's Mayfair for those who can afford the nearly £800 annual membership fee.

Go there for a monthly talk and lunch. A very pleasant place with accommodating staff. One aspect requiring much improvement is the very poor disabled provision. Not only is there no level access from the street, but it is impossible to access the first floor (used for the luncheon in question) without negotiating a beautiful but very long flight of stairs. Oddly there is a lift but it does not stop at the first floor.

Many thanks to the team for an amazing event last month. We were so pleased with the event we held and I stayed the night before. They really know how to treat customers and the staff bend over backwards to help and the food was great. Thank you we will back for another event in 2024.
