Popped into the shop today to get a rod for my son who’s just getting into fishing. I didn’t have much of an idea of what I was looking for but the lady in the shop was super knowledgeable and very friendly. It looked exceptionally well stocked. Highly recommend.

I've only just recently started visiting State Tackle due to starting to fish in local waters to the shop.I've been really impressed with the friendly, knowledgeable staff, always very helpful.Lots of tackle and bait to choose from at good prices. Good to see the shop is open for a while on Sunday mornings.Definitely recommend.

The head tea drinker Basil Hopkins is a permanent fixture in there. Graham and Rob are ace! Great shop.
