Butterflies Beauty & Holistic Therapy

Although I received what I thought was a great offer on Groupon, the service didn’t meet up to expectations. When receiving the massage I could tell the therapist was distracted and would suddenly go from two hands to a very light touch one hand and thought I could hear a clicking noise, and what was a pen and paper flicking. This happened throughout the treatment, when I got dressed it was clear to see where she had been sidetracked, by arranging other appointments throughout the treatment, which I find unacceptable and unprofessional. Not a great experience

I'm not one for reviewing usually but Sue from Butterflies in Chorlton is one of the best holistic therapists I've come across. Other than being a thoroughly nice lady she is a knowleagable, precise and efficient masseuse. I'm now visiting her business regularly for massage, reflexology, indian head massage and facials. I've grown particularly interested in reflexology and its benefits, and Sue clearly knows her stuff. Thoroughly recommended without hesitation - in fact, I've bought gift vouchers for several friends......

I recently visited butterflies with my friend for a hot stone massage, indian head massage and a facial. I must say I was unsure of what to expect, but, it was amazing! Sue is very professional and friendly and certainly knows her stuff. Sue made the whole experience enjoyable. I would definately recommend a trip here. I will most definately be returning. I asked about products being used and Sue knew nothing about them. I had a hot stone massage, Indian head and facial. I checked for certificates of training when getting dressed but there were none on display and I didn’t recognise products. I had lower back pain and a bruise on my head for a few days afterwards. afterwards. The 3 treatments took less than an hour. I noticed my voucher was cashed in 3 days before I was due to have treatment which I thought a bit odd.

Writing this review after a couple of massages with Sue, she is warm, friendly and the massage is always excellent. Probably the best masseuse I've found in my surrounding area, the hot stone massage is highly recommended and I will be back again shortly for my regular massage!

I bought a voucher from groupon for a head massage and reflexology massage. The therapist was obviously distracted and I could hear her writing with one hand whilst 'massaging' me with the other - although it didn't really feel like a massage - just a light touch. When she seemed to be concentrating it was great, but that didn't seem to be very often. I found it very disconcerting for her to be very distracted and writing things down whilst delivering a service I have paid for - maybe it's because I paid less using groupon? The head massage also lasted about 30 seconds which I don't think counts? Altogether - didn't get what I expected and wouldn't recommend getting a voucher for this service through groupon. It would also have been nice to have been offered a glass of water.

Fabulous as always. Sue is so warm, welcoming and extremely professional. Treatment was relaxing amd enjoyable. All safety measures were in place so you feel very reassured visiting. Highly recommend
