Watch Bracelet Repairs

Brilliant service. I had a broken Rolex watch bracelet which would have cost a fortune to send back to Rolex for a repair. This company was able to repair it for a tenth of the price and I still cannot see evidence of the repair.

I am an antique diamond ring dealer trading under the name of TRU Vintage Diamonds LtdThis fraudster has over £2000 worth of my stock (3 antique diamond rings and 2 gold lockets) Any work he did he was paid for immediately. I do not owe him money as he has all of the items I needed repairing still! He does not respond to calls emails or texts and has not returned them to me for 3 months now. Clearly based on other reviews there is a pattern in this behaviour and its disgusting.I have had to resort to filing a theft report with the police which I will now leave with them as I am currently undergoing treatment for cancer which the owner knew about and this is stress and financial issues I can live without.I have contacted one of his work colleagues who confirmed he HAS spoken to him recently so the owner is alive and well and for what ever reasons flat out refuses to return calls, texts emails AND is holding my stock.I encourage ANYONE who has lost items of virtue to this fraudster to open a theft report with the police as he has stolen several items from a few people just here on this review site alone! Lord only knows how many more people he has ripped off who we dont know about.

My wife’s watch which has been with this company since June and is of great sentimental value to my wife. It was apparently all completed on 8/8 , to be sent the following day and a tracking number supplied. When there was no sign of it by 23/8 at about the 30th attempt I did manage to get James to answer his phone as my e.mails had been ignored. He said it would be sent that afternoon ( why not on 8/8 as promised?) and he would send me the tracking number. Since then no watch and maybe more significantly no tracking number. My wife has been in tears this weekend and despite sending an e.mail and about 30:attempts to get someone to answer the phone ( either an engaged tone or no answer) we are sad beyond words that we have been deceived this way. However I do not intend to let the matter rest and hopefully the police and my solicitor have better luck contacting them than me.

Do not use this guy or company whats so ever. They have stopped all communication and have a Longine case a a rolex gold Presidential bracelet and are refusing to answer my calls or emails or text messages. I've now resorted to speaking with my insurance company and also the police, i will be taking this further.very shameful taking advantage of peoplenot only has he lied to me but has lied to my customer who called him and he promised pictures and a meeting to discuss the repair or even return the jobs. which was meant to happen on saturday (18th july) but once again james seized all communication and the customer was not able to get her property back

Sent my broken watch bracelet to James at watch bracelet repair. He did an excellent good job welding a snapped jubilee link back together, something I wasn't sure could be done, and for a very reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. Highly recommended!

Customers beware, Alexander James Taylor is unfortunately little more than a thief and internet conman. My watch bracelet was sent to him in good faith over 3 months ago and after a lively email exchange, and many long winded phone calls, the work was never done, and the bracelet never returned. Upon any sign of my doubts in him replies to my emails quickly dried up, and phone calls now go unanswered.I’m in the process of taking my complaints through trading standards, with the help of Citizens Advice Bureau. The police will also be informed and I’ll do my utmost to a) reclaim my jewellery, and b) help bring down a fraudulent trader to help others avoid the pitfalls of his dishonesty.

Didn't want to put 1 star, sent a Gold necklace and Silver anklet to be repaired at the beginning of July. I was promised their return by the end of the week. Well as you can guess it's the 28th December and I have had to report to the police. They have been told by James that he sub contracts his work and he will chase them up on the 2nd of January with returning on the 2nd week of Jan.He has told me 18 times that the repairs are done and in the envelope I sent them in and would be posted the next day. There was even a period of 11 weeks where he would not answer the phone.In this time Jewellers that were advertised on his site as working together have all been removed. Unfortunately I believe he has misplaced items as he told the police officer he would pay the value of the necklace to me now which they refused thank god.Stay away look at the most recent reviews this year their is a continuous string of deceit

I’ve had the same experience dealing with this company as some of the other people who submitted reviews. I sent my watch bracelet to them for repair in good faith. Initially communicative but then it dried up. Texts and emails are not replied to and phone calls not picked up. I have initiated a complaint via Trading Standards.

Well probably the quickest baterry replacement and strap replacement, pricing is fair and low. Definitely would recommend to others. Shop does not look as fancy however look can be deceiving on this occasion.

Speak to James for all your Watch/Bracelet repairs. My Omega was repaired for fraction off the price that local competitors or Omega would charge. Came back pristine. A diamond tennis bracelet repaired for a tenth of the price I'd been quoted and whilst I sat and chatted he even polished my wedding ring, (when a high street chain would have charged top money). Couldn't be happier. At last, someone you can trust in the jewellery business without ripping you off. The ONLY person I will now use for any requirements! Get it done right, cheaper and sooner by James.
