Recently visited the store for a car seat for my grandson .Stacey was such a help and very knowledgeable making sure that the seat was suitable for my car and the baby she fitted the seat in the car for me , was so pleased and confident I have a safe seat for him. Thank you Stacey

Bought a drone for a birthday present. Came home and child opened to find it damaged. Packed it up and went to store next day to return with receipt. Dealt with completely rude staff manager John and he refused to return item although clearly damaged on Smyths side. Absolute disgrace. Wasting our time and money. Long time customers. Disgusted.

Just bought a child's car seat from Middlebrook store. The person we spoke to was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products, and fitted it in the car. First class service. Thank you .

Beware selling used/returned or faulty products as new they refuse to replace or refund. Iv reported the transaction to by bank as a scam.

Great toy shop. The staff were all very helpful to any questions that we asked of them. The store is very clean and well managed. Excellent range of toys. They even have a ten pounds or less section if you don’t wish to spend that much money. Glad we went in the end. Got a nice little police car

Absolute excellent customer service this morning from Kieron at Middlebrook store.Quickly sorted out a problem with brakes on a toddler bike without fuss and even gave it a full check over- much appreciated one little grandchild happy - 5stars -Linda

The customer service at the middle brook branch of smyths toys is disgusting ? The guy that served me for click and collect was the most rude and arrogant person I have ever had the displeasure to meet ! I didn’t have photo Identification , which has never ever been an issue anywhere else when I’ve picked up click and collect. I showed him my Visa card and also showed him my online banking which I had to use my fingerprint ID to get on to , to show this jobsworth that I had purchased the item and wasn’t stealing the toy ! He made me feel like a criminal ! Give someone a little power and it’s clearly gone to his head . Buyer beware they may require a DNA sample from you or a blood specimen before he lets you pick up any goods ! If you have spent a hundred pounds or more they WILL NOT LET YOU take your purchase home without drawing blood first ! I would have given zero stars but I didn’t have the option unfortunately.

Had worst experience with smyths middlebrook branch..Donot buy electronics(toys). They are selling used and damaged items in new packaging and charging people for the price of new… total scam and Their Manager JOHN is manipulative man and have no respect for customers.

Went to the Middlebrook Bolton branch and the staff were so friendly and informative. The shop itself is a little and big kid delight. Even found a chair for this exhausted person which was much needed. Looking forward to visiting again.

Scammers selling incorrectly boxed items then refusing to replace the item with the correct one had to purchase again elsewhere.If your buying anything make sure you check the box and the item is correct before leaving the store.
