We were taken by the positive reviews for this establishment so decided to go for a random Sunday dinner after visiting the nearby woods for a walk.Positives: Ample parking / friendly staff. Starter mushrooms and bread was lovely.Negatives: if you don't like veg the Sunday dinner probably isn't for you. It's very light on potatoes, meat is plentiful but a bit tough. Me and my partner ordered 2 meals but only one dish with some vegetables was supplied between us to share. If you look hard enough at the picture of my turkey dinner you can play spot the stuffing ball it's as small as the smallest potato. Cranberry sauce for your Sunday dinner sir? you need to ask for as it doesn't come on the plate despite being labelled as such on the menu. The place does get busy and unfortunately our drinks order was left behind a couple of times. We were seated by a noisy coffee machine which was very noisy and in near constant use. Sadly I am unlikely to return.

A lovely buffet here following a funeral service nearby in Peterborough. It was a very peaceful, warm and inviting place with a chance to chat in super surroundings. Thank you.

We have just enjoyed another wonderful Sunday lunch at the this lovely Pub restaurant. We are here as often as possible as the food is consistently superb. Delicious freshly cooked and plentiful. A really pleasant pub with an excellent choice of well priced food. Busy busy busy. A nice atmosphere of happy customers, walking group, families, ladies that lunch and grey brigade. Two very busy ladies served us they were chatty and worked hard to meet demand. Food attractively plated and tasty. Well done we will return.

Myself and nana had a lunch trip and came across this lovely little place. Staff were attentive and catered to our needs without any fault. They were brilliant. Food was fresh and was amazing! Nana had the baked goats cheese and I had the Brie, pesto and tomato baguette. We also shared the little cheese and tomato garlic bread and it was amazing! Thank you all for the perfect end to our nana and Vickie day

Family meal at the Horseshoe, and we were not disappointed. From the second we walked in, it was clear we were going to be well looked after. The team that looked after us explained the menu, and provided recommendations that were spot on. From the minute our order was taken to the time the passionate team brought our meals was in a duration that we were comfortable with because great food takes time to be freshly cooked, and this was the case at the Horseshoe. Thank you team, and awesome time was had

Visited on a Wednesday lunchtime for U3A Tenpin Bowling Christmas lunch, for 12 guests. Pub looked very seasonal and service was good. Most people were pleased with their meals and crackers were pulled though not all of them snapped! Two of us ordered Beef Short Rib but it was very fatty and disappointing. Some vegetables were only just cooked, very al dente"!The fish cake and other starters were excellent however as were most of the desserts and the main courses.A few finished with a decent coffee."

The staff were very friendly. The pub was quaint & comfortable. Food was excellent & pretty quick to come as well. Very reasonably priced too. My husband said it was best sausage & mash he'd had!! Good sized portions as well.

What a fantastic pub, 9 of us went here for a birthday lunch, the staff are very friendly and very helpful, the food was well priced and portion size very good, I had the burger which just melted in the mouth diserts were amazing. Overall I will definitely be going back it was one of the best meals we have ever had 10/10
