This Modern Love

Tim and Claire are wonderful! We were married in 2018 and had a great experience working with This Modern Love. We were planning our wedding from long distance (currently living in the USA) and Tim and Claire were so flexible in working with us over Skype and on the phone and making sure our planning process was as stress-free as possible. We had such a wonderful time on our wedding day and are so happy that Tim was there to capture these memories on film. Tim really captured the feeling of the day and we look at our photos and watch the video slideshow Tim and Claire put together for us all the time! We can't say enough good things about This Modern Love. What I think is truly special about This Modern Love is how Tim and Claire recognize that each couple they work with is unique and make an effort to get to learn more about the people they are working with. There is no standard wedding photo shoot" with This Modern love

I honestly cannot recommend This Modern Love enough. Firstly, both Tim and Claire were such a pleasure to communicate with in the lead up to our day. I am blown away by Tim's unbelievable talent! His photos capture the personalities and the atmosphere of the day perfectly. I admittedly was a little disorganized when it came to planning what photographs I wanted. Tim was amazing to direct us, make sure we covered every shot we could want, was instantly on board with last minute ideas and came up with the most amazing creative ideas on the spot on the day and directed us seamlessly. He is just the nicest person and made everyone feel at ease, he honestly could have been mistaken as one of our guest with how friendly he was and how well he fit in. We will treasure our photos forever, thank you Tim and Claire!

Tim and Claire were a dream...a total pleasure to work with from start to finish. The photography was really important to me. They discussed style and approch with us in detail, really listening to our wants. Their dedication and passion was unwavering. Tim is such a creative talent and an absolute joy to have around on your wedding day. We were delighted with our photos!!

We couldn't recommend Tim enough. Himself and Claire were a pleasure to deal with from the moment we booked them for our wedding. So kind, relaxed and helpful -honestly so lovely to deal with :) When getting ready on the wedding day, Tim arrived and instantly made everyone feel so relaxed. Then for most of the wedding we actually forgot he was there taking photos! We were so happy when we got the photos back and they were really natural beautiful shots which told the whole story of the day. We wouldn't hesitate in encouraging any couple to go ahead and book Tim for their wedding-you won't be disappointed!

Where do I even start?! From the moment we first started chatting to Tim and Claire, we knew we had chosen the perfect photographer for our wedding day. The style of the photos was exactly what we wanted (relaxed, not too posed, fun, interesting ways of working with the light), and so when we found out how lovely Tim and Claire both were, we were chuffed.We had to change our wedding date three times and we were so relieved that they could still do those dates. They were incredibly patient and understanding with all the changes and to-ing and fro-ing and like nothing was any bother whatsoever.We had regular catch ups and email replies were quick, which makes all the difference when you have so much to think about.On the day, Tim was phenomenal. You didn’t even realise he was there which is perfect for a couple who hate posing for photos and hate attention! He was patient whilst we rounded up our family and friends and really efficient at getting the group shots done so that everyone could get back and enjoy themselves. The three of us then went out to take photos and he found some amazing spots we hadn’t even thought of; he had clearly scoped out the area and knew what would work with the fast fading autumn light.I can’t put into words how impressed we are with the final photos, which we got back exactly one month to the day that we got married. They are perfect. They really show how happy and relaxed everyone was, and he does magic things with lighting! People have said how impressed they are too and can’t believe how well Tim captured the moments. We can’t stop looking at them! They’re the perfect blend of smiley, happy photos and then cool dramatic shots.I just wish we had another life event that needed documenting!Thanks so much Tim and Claire,Matt and Siobhan

I'd give more stars if I could! Highly recommend This Modern Love! We had our wedding in July and Tim was incredible. We wanted to capture the day in a documentary/candid style and Tim more than delivered. Tim was discreet when taking photos, great fun and the utmost professional. Tim and Claire are the very best. We just loved Tim's ability to catch the most magical of everyday moments. From start to finish, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. It's important to have a person photographing your wedding who combines the tendency to put everyone at ease with the ability to get shots when you don't even know he's there. We treasure our wedding albums and the slideshow they put together is magical. What an eye.

Where can you start with Tim and Claire.When we first started planning our wedding, we knew that the photos were one of the most important parts for us, not being two people who ever really take pictures or enjoy having their pictures taken we knew that the decision on who to pick for the job was an important one.Having trawled through many websites and talked to a few different photographers, when we came across This Modern Love’s portfolio, and then had a chat with Claire and Tim, we knew pretty quickly that we were in good hands.On the day, we could not have felt more at ease with Tim, it really felt like Tim was an old friend who was also taking photos.Guests have commented multiple times on how professional and nice Tim was and have specifically mentioned that he blended in to the crowd which put everyone at ease.The pictures from the day far surpassed our expectations and managed to capture minute memories from the day. There are not enough stars to adequately reflect how incredible Tim & Claire are and not enough words for us to express how grateful we are!From the very first email, Claire was so helpful and kind. She answered all our questions with support and reassurance. Planning a wedding in a short time frame can be tricky, but these guys made us feel genuinely excited with every interaction. They gave us advice and suggestions which were invaluable.On the day, Tim was amazing; he was so calming and easy to deal with. He managed to capture all the tiny moments of joy that we wanted, candid photos that show our favourite people having a ball. The time we spent with Tim having our portrait photos done, remains one of the most special parts of the day for us.The photos we received are beyond anything we could have hoped for & everybody who has seen them has commented on how great they are.We feel incredibly lucky that we had Tim as our photographer & honoured that we now have such amazing photos to look back on.
