The most stupid experience, I asked for a full groom, and I did specified to not trimm my dog. I said at least 3 times. My dog is a Samoyed. You can not cut a Samoyeds coat. If nobody asked for it, why would you do that? I am soooo angry they ruined my dog coat. A samoyed coat can be cut only for medical reason because is not growing back. She is a very expensive dog as well. If you dont know how to care about some breads, just say it and dont touch them.

It's not a bad place to take your dog for a stroll. They'll love it. Same with the Victoria X. Your dog is so excited to go in these buildings that normally they're not allowed in. It does have everything under one roof. Groomers and Vets too.

I attempted to buy some snails and fish from your store. The staff member serving me demanded that I provide all of my personal information before they would sell me the fish, claiming that it was necessary to ensure the welfare of the fish. While I understand the necessity of ensuring the welfare of all animals sold from pet stores, I am struggling to understand how the collection of all my personal data is necessary or relevant for this purpose. In my understanding, the Animal Welfare Act 2006, which regulates the sale of pets, does not necessitate the collection of extensive personal information from the buyer. Furthermore, the Data Protection Act 2018 outlines that the processing of personal data must be necessary to fulfil the stated purpose and proportionate to that purpose. Therefore, I am of the belief that your requirement for such extensive personal data collection is in contravention of the aforementioned law. It's essential to maintain a balance between protecting animal welfare and respecting customer privacy. Collecting an excessive amount of personal data appears to be an unwarranted intrusion into my privacy.I kindly request that you review your data collection policy in this regard. It's important for companies to respect the privacy of their customers while also adhering to the legal requirements set out for them. This incident has resulted in a negative experience for me as a customer, and I believe it could be detrimental to your business if not addressed.

The pets of homes I go to are the ones just off Basingstoke Road in Reading . I need the vet's they're all my cat. I also get my cat litter from there & I bought a new material bag to put my cartoon for when I go to the vet there.

Decent store, not the largest store so dog food is not the largest selection, but does offer click and collect and online delivery to store.Free car parking makes it easy to collecting heavy items.Vets and groomers inside the store.

Some time ago it used to be the best place for cat food. Unfortunately, each time I go there, there is lack of cat food, litter or toys. Therefor 4 stars only. However, staff is more than helpful and always smiling, making you feel very comfy during your shopping there. Big thanks for hard working staff. 10 stars for the staff.

Had a good experience here, staffs are friendly and willing to help. I haven’t tried the grooming room as I feel my dog would be stressed there but the shopping is good, found or order to delivery everything my dog needs.

So…. They stock everything from live stock to animal good, fish, bedding, flea solution and so on, but next door you have B&M , who stock a lot of the same items for half the price . So I’m guilty of checking if B&M stores stock what I need for a fraction of the price. Of course you’ll need to stick to Pets at Home for any expert advice you may want.

Everytime single time I go in For fish food there is none. Why don’t staff check the stock. Sometimes I ask staff to check if they have any in stock. Without checking they just say no they don’t have any.One positive thing is they have some lovely fish at a decent price.
