Gracie Barra Bradford

Visited this place because they hold a Jiu Jitsu class there several times a week. Now, while I must admit they didn't teach me how to kill a man with one punch on my first visit, they were very welcoming, kind, and good instructors. I've been to many martial arts gyms and classes and there is always an air of arrogance that can make the newbie feel like an outsider. However, this was not the case here. Damn good teachers. A great class. Everybody was very welcoming and warm. And they did a great job of social distancing (we had to use MMA dummies).

Just had my first ever lesson of Jiu Jitsu at the Gracie Barra Bradford centre. I went with my younger brother who is Disabled, the staff are extremely friendly and supportive! They helped explain the techniques and were very patient with us!I was really nervous at first but the staff and other students made us feel at home! Nobody looked down on us because we were the new guys lolThank you so much!!!!!!!!!!

Truly exceptional BJJ coach! Their expertise and teaching style are top-notch. I've learned so much and seen tremendous progress under their guidance. Highly recommend training with them!

Excellent instructor, I'm not a regular student here. But I would recommend to anyone wanting to study bjj. It's a place where blue belts roll like they're purple belts, that speaks volumes about the quality of what is been taught.

Hi everyone honestly speaking I have never seen a business this unprofessional specially in this type of business…Me my wife and my two children went there as they called us for my children's trail session. We came in totally clueless as to who to go to for the trial session. There was no reception no staff, no one to welcome us when we entered and the only staff member present completely ignored us knowing we were standing outside waiting. We had to physically go inside the class and he told us he’s busy teaching without paying attention that we had come for a trial session. We were told that we are late now and would have to sit and watch… no professionalism, very rude and disrespectful. We had to ask a parent as to who to speak to in regards to the trial session and she herself called the staff so he could speak to us because he completely ignored the fact that we were there. You don’t great your new customers in this way maybe it’s because we are Asian that’s why we were treated so rudely. It would have been nice if he greeted us well and and appreciated us for choosing this academy. But all we got was ignorance and disrespect. My children went home feeling very sad and unhappy. I don’t recommend a place where your not given respect.
