Premier Inn St. Helens South hotel

Lovely clean spacious rooms,had a great nights sleep here.

Standard premier Inn, you know what you get. Only down sides were not a very big car park, and there seemed to be no room cleaning the 4 days i was there. Restaurant food was really good. Service was a hit or a miss, some nights it was good, others it was really slow.

Standard Premier Inn and attached pub. Isolated so unless you want to jump in the car, you're limited to eating in the Beefeater.Restaurant gone down hill a bit with a new menu. Limited choice of beers.Good breakfast.

It's a Premier Inn, so you know what to expect. As a place to stay for one night it was fine for what we needed. Quieter than expected, easy access to motorway and food on site. Gary at reception was very friendly and helpful.

A school trip,,24 students,5 Teachers.We were well looked after by all we encountered. The rooms were clean, well equipped,with adequate storage.The Beefeater was our Restaurant meals for Breakfast and evening meals. Breakfast no problem plenty of choice.Evening meals, difficult with youngsters who prefer fast food and Pot noodles overallOk. Very patient staff and Chef!Prices were very good for our group. Parking directly outside.Small downside comment, the Beefeater toilets , the swing doors and fire doors are crying out for attention! Thanks to all involved.

We've stayed here on numerous occasions and have always found it to be excellent. A big shout out to Gary and Louise in the hotel for their excellent professionalism and efficiency in their said roles, going above and beyond if you need anything, regardless of the time and all with a great customer service. Also, Declan and other members of staff (can't remember their names) in the restaurant, who again go out of their way for you and always with a smile. Declan's customer service is second to none. Please thank each and everyone of them and we will definitely be back because we know what fantastic staff you have there. We'll done to all!!

Everything you expect from a Premier Inn. The beds were really comfortable, it was very quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. We used it for an overnight stay after a long drive before visiting Edge Hill University. The food at the connected Beefeater was good.

Food lovely, room terribleFirst of all, I have to say the food was lovely, the staff fantastic, but the room... I am sorry but I can only describe it as grubby! The sheet had a stain on it, the light was broken, the curtain rail was hanging off and the dust, oh my god!! I went to plug my laptop into the TV as there was no panel on the wall like in most Premier Inns, and I was shocked at the amount of dirt and dust, it knocked me sick.

I stayed here for two nights recently, it is a premier inn so it is nearly a carbon copy of all the others so you know what you are getting. The room was sound, everything was how it should be. This Premier Inn is about a five minute taxi ride from the station. If you want to catch a bus it's about a 20 minute walk through the industrial estate and then 20 minutes on the bus up to St Helens.
