staff are rude and dont care about customersI rang about the price of heating oil and was told £.88p per litreI drove 7 miles with 8 plastic containers to be told the oil was now £1.44 per litreWhen i questioned this the staff said if you dont like it dont buy it !!!

The reviewer describing staff as rude and arrogant must visit a very different John Stayte Services to the one I frequent. Staff in Eastington are always cheerful, efficient, knowledgeable and most helpful. Visits are invariably a good experience.

Superb service by Nick and the team, I had no idea what I was really looking for and he still talked me through what I needed without being condescending or making me feel stupid. Will definitely use again.

Awful service. John Staytes Services provided me a faulty gas bottle and won't send anyone to resolve the issue for 24hours which means we have no heating in JANUARY. Customer services said 'so you want us to send someone after they've had a day of work and want their tea' and I replied that yes, I felt someone local could come and help because I now have no heating in the middle of January and I have also had a long day at work. I also want my tea haha! They blamed Calor gas, but seeing as they have taken £70+ from me, I feel it is their responsibility to find a solution. As a long standing customer, I'd have expected more from them. The drivers are really decent people and I'm sure if she could have asked, they'd have helped me. Looks like I am staying in a hotel for the night and I shall be passing on the cost considering the receptionists inability to problem-solve. What has happened to common decency of trying to help our neighbours rather than 'it's 4pm so no'...I wouldn't have minded if she could have been bothered to even ask them and done her best however an outright no that she wont even ask them is silly. I can only assume it was really her who wanted her dinner...

Went in this morning in rather desperate need of a new gas regulator and suitable hose - nothing was too much trouble, replacements were found. Very impressed with the whole set up there and the very helpful staff - thank you.

Always friendly and smiling. Very helpful with Charlie, my dog with allergies. Nothing is ever any trouble. Very much recommended.

Always find the staff very helpful, go out of their way to help, and always carry my stuff to the car for me. Anytime I ring the lady on the phone is super cheerful.

Great bulk supplier of many products including pet supplies. Always a great service. I have never had to ask for help with loading my purchases. Great customer service and always a friendly smile and conversation. Thank you.
