Great venue to see a band...a few seats at the side but mainly standing...around 5 mins walk from Reading train station.

It was good and appropriate for use. We went for a birthday. Comedy was good. Only downside is there was no food. They don't serve food in the venue which is a shame as the doors opened 6pm to 10:30pm. Dinner would normally be in-between. The breaks are not long enough to go order food eat and come back. I'm not sure if they allow you to bring back your food to eat during the show.

My fav venue of all venues.. .!!. top bands at a tiny venue ..bad manners ..sham ..stiff little fingers etc.. up close and personal ..always a good nite here

Tiny venue but the energy you get at the concert was off the charts. Loses one star because security told me i couldn't sit down near the sound desk just after doors opened. There was hardly anyone around me and it wasn't like i was planning to sit there through the show. I've sat on the floor at the O2 in London and at other venues between acts and its never been an issue..smh

Tight little venue, hot on a summers evening when full and when I say hot, I mean dripping... Reasonably priced drinks, staff very nice. Fabulous to see a 'big' band play such a small venue.

- Doors open time an hour late, because of 'technical issues'.- Expensive drinks. This is Reading, not London; a pint shouldn't be over £5.- Especially if it's been watered down.- Cloakroom not operational, staff lied about it when asked. Not good when it's been raining all day.- Sound balance very much off. Too much top end.- Low ceiling means the lights were right in my eyes. I get that I'm unusually tall for the area, but not by that much.In short, I'm never going there again. So much for the local metal scene.

Great venue in the heart of Reading. The team here are excellent and we were served drinks pretty quickly even though it was busy, good value too. The sound is great with good view of stage. I saw Sham 69 on this occasion and look forward to going back.....The Kids Are United !!!
