Arnie's of Essex - Luxury Dog Groomers

I've been taking my Jack Russell and Italian Greyhound for years now. They are truly the most reliable and professional dog groomers I have ever come across. Hannah and her team are extremely friendly and welcoming, during Covid their hygeine protocols were excellent and the natural treats and products in the retail section are well thought out. This is an excellent example of a top quality business!

Used to be good now run by kids who don’t listen to what you want and don’t care. Poor customer care is apparent from as soon as you walk in the door. Needs to get back to basics. Have spoken to several other dog owners who not happy and not gojng back. Nor will we

Very Happy with cut, he was way overdue and need to be trimmed very short due to matting.

Arnies were amazing on lokis first groom, kept him calm and he came back super soft and smelling great. Best dog groomers in essex!

Finally found a dog groomer that actually listens to what you’d like. My Cockapoo is always happy to return to Arnies which is a good sign in itself. Attention to detail on each groom he’s had been using them for over a year. Communication is always good, the girls at the salon are super friendly to both human and dog. Would high recommend. Happy repeat customer!

I took my jack Russell teddy in today for his first cut, OMG I cannot thank Arnie’s enough they did an amazing job, he came back a different boy, cuteness overload, so handsome. I can’t recommend them highly enough you honestly won’t be disappointed with the service they give. Certainly pamper your pooches. And they smell divine. I have often visited Arnie’s to pick up and drop of my daughters dog Lola. The staff are very friendly and Lola gets really excited when we arrive which I take to be a very positive sign. They know exactly how my daughter likes her groomed and she always comes out looking stunning, happy and smells wonderful. I would highly recommend and I’m pretty sure Lola would too.

I booked 6 weeks in advance and had a house move and forgot about my appointment. They apparently take a deposit which didn’t happen, plus this Dog groomer have a policy of texting 24 hours before the appointment but didn’t send a reminder text and when i queried this all I got wasI an excuse of, ‘oh it probably just got forgotten or didn’t go through’ but still charged the cancellation fee of £20. On querying this on the phone i was told ‘well it’s in our policies and on social media’. I’m sorry arnies dog groomers but stick to all of your policies and not the ones that suit! Hasten to add I will not be bringing my dog to this groomers it’s all about money.

Booked our dog in for a groom over a week ago, she still smells like she has just walked out of the parlour. We have been to a few different groomers and have found this one to be slightly on the pricier side however the only place we have been too where she has still looked and smelt like she had just been to the groomers weeks later.. So worth it in the respect!
