Very happy with our stay. The rooms and the bar itself are clean and well cared for. The breakfasts are enormous and there are options for all tastes. The staff are lovely and we will certainly stay again. We were well fed and had great nights sleep.

Lovely, small hotel. Clean, good decor. Rooms comfortable, shower perfect and soft beds. Good location and reasonably priced. Good food. Caters for GF. Friendly staff. Near town centre/train station. Would go back again

We stayed for 3 days for our daughter's graduation. Totally recommended. Comfortable, clean, well located. Great breakfast and the possibility of having lunch, dinner or having a few beers in the Pub. Special mention to the friendliness of all the staff

Such a lovely hotel. We booked for a two night stay, Sunday and Monday, and were impressed from the first minute we pulled up outside the W&H.The location is excellent, which is just a short walk from the main hub of the town, along the river.Dan booked us in and was super helpful, letting us know where to park and getting us checked in efficiently.Our room was tastefully furnished and modern and the bed had a good quality mattress and was very comfortable.To add to the list of positives, we had plenty of tea bags and milk provided, with bottles of still and sparkling water.Breakfast is excellent with good quality sausages and bacon and there is a large selection of cereals, toast, jams etc and other items on offer.Diane looked after us for breakfast and her housekeeping colleague replaced water etc, whilst we eating breakfast, which was a nice touch.Such a lovely location, building and team of staff.A 10/10 hotel.

Booked a table for 6 of us for the evening to watch a band .. ordered our main courses( which were all lovely) went to order dessert only to be told that the kitchen closed at 8 and we couldn't have any!! Never experienced this in any other place and was very disappointed. The kitchen staff were still there and people were still eating, so if you book a table at 7/7.30, don't expect to get a dessert!!

Visited here for food. Not an amazing selection of Vegan, but what is on the menu is tasty , well cooked and well presented. Staff behind the bar were really friendly.

Nice place, cleverly lit. Good beer, friendly welcome.Food is good though I didn't have some on this occasion and the pictures of six rooms look like the sort of.places I'd enjoy staying.A nice place to spend the evening or return after town. rumour has it a good breakfast too from 8 daily.

Lovely little pub and great service. We was meant to come for breakfast this morning but we slept in and had to leave for home so we was gutted! Will definitely return when we are in the area
