I’ve been seeing Hoops for a couple of months now after being recommended to him by another coach. Being a personal trainer myself and keen sportsman, I often find my body gets niggles.Hoops uses his very extensive knowledge and wide skill base to quickly sort me out!What I like most, is that he explains everything he’s doing and why, so that you go away understanding what your body needs.I wouldn’t go anywhere else and would thoroughly recommend!

Currently, he's assisting me in preparing for my inaugural marathon, providing not only training expertise but also invaluable sports massages both pre and post runs. Dave was extremely professional, and put me at ease quickly. He quickly diagnosed a tightness issue with my hip, and gave treatment and acupuncture to the area. Two sessions later things are much improved, and I will definitely return to him for any future issues.

I love Dave's enthusiasm. He is a very good trainer. His training plans were easy to follow and always felt achievable. I improved my half marathon time by 15mins with Dave and I completed my first marathon under his guidance. Unfortunately the heatwave of 10 September did allow for a good finishing time.

Dave is a priceless resource! He has a vast knowledge, is very professional with a friendly charismatic demeanour and is able to describe issues in understandable ways, always making sure I know what’s going on in my body.He has aided my recovery multiple times across numerous injuries and for as long as I keep hurting my self I will keep going back!

I initially sought Dave's help with an it band issue. His expert advice and treatment allowed me to continue with my marathon training, completing it comfortably and then continuing to compete in functional fitness competitions. During our sessions Dave made me feel completing comfortable and imparted his expert coaching advice which led me to enlist his help as a running coach. Since working with Dave he has helped me improve my speed and has been superb with managing pre-race nerves and creating an excellent coaching program.

I have been working with Dave to improve my running over the last 6 months using his personalised coaching plan and have seen great results. Within 4 months I had reduced my 5km time by over 2 minutes and comfortably completed my first road half marathon hitting my target time of sub 2 hours. Having Dave’s knowledge and support as a physio has also been invaluable in keeping at bay a recurrent hip problem. Highly recommend Dave at Synergy for all physio and coaching needs!
