I had very bad experience. Student hub is not at all supportive. I completed my course in Jan2023. I haven't received my completion certificate yet. Its been 9 months . I am constantly contacting student hub since there is no other contact points. Raised many queries which is forwarded to assessment team many times yet not resolved. Not received digital or original certificates. Now my UEL account is closed and I am moving to another house and there is no option to change my term time address. Till now I had a hope that I will receive my certificate in future, but now even if it is delivered there is no way to collect it. After a year's hard work and spending hard earned money, I feel disappointed by the way they treated my concern. I constantly contacted student hub and sent mail to various persons but they didn't bother to consider my request. Isn't it my right to receive my completion certificate . I don't know whe should I ask. My graduation ceremony is also over now but not received any proof that I actually completed the course. The staffs are incompetent and unprofessional. There is no option to contact any department directly . All have to go through student hub and they don't care about anything or anyone.

Worst experience of my life. I joined during covid and the lectures and teaching was so low quality. First of all the lectures were done over Teams. You couldn’t hear anybody properly, and the video quality was so bad you couldn’t see, no interaction with the students on the call. Technical issues, teachers not turning up most days. One lecturer even did the video call whilst on the train. Most of the assignments are group work which is fine except literally nobody speaks English. I was the only English person there, which again is fine except the group work consisted of one person that actually could speak English and understand the task doing all the work or you all fail. So I had to do everything. Also you have to teach yourself everything. Even the teachers aren’t English so you can’t understand anything they say. There’s no communication between tutors and students. If you have a problem then forget it because it will never get sorted. I withdrew from the course and they didn’t even notice.

Bad experience especially by the student hub.ABDI is very racist and is unfair towards me because of which I got alot of mental stress.I have not received my degree and transcripts from almost 6 months due to which I was not able to get a job and admission to another university for my higher studies.

I would give ZERO star if I could. The worst experience I’ve had in my life! Stay away from them, they gave me zero support during the 2 years, my progression was delayed for 5 months because they couldn’t allocate all the students to complete the placement hours, at the end I was not even aware of my own graduation, they simply didn’t send the invitation for some students and now we have been waiting for more than 6 months for the diploma.

Other than academic activities, this one is good. Career Zone of the University support students in many career related aspects. Good support from ISA team and student union conduct so many wonderful programs for students.

this is not a thought-out review, just wanted to say: be ready for DLR and airplane noises:(( if your room is in a building further away from the uni, I WISH YOU THE BEST. It annoyed me so much when i lived there. Oh. and don't swim in the river. It's radioactive, you will grow another head. Actually, it might be useful for studies, so maybe go for a quick dive.

My experience studying Cyber Security and Networks at the University of East London was exceptional. The course curriculum was comprehensive, providing a perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application. I applied for a PGCE course via the Department for Education application portal. I applied the day applications opened. It has been one month and they have still not got back to me (other training providers have even offered interviews and given me offers). I called in four times yet I have not received an appropriate response from anyone, besides saying I will let the tutor know". I asked for an email so that I can contact a tutor myself

Amazing institution. Located just by the Royal docks. You can see planes landing and taking off over the London City Airport and it is just amazing. Buildings are well spaced, equipped and the designs are awesome. Students come from all parts of the world and lectures are well delivered in conducive classrooms. Technology is used as a tool to make lectures more comfortable
