Having recently suffering from pain and discomfort, I called the practice to try and book in. As its covid times I was a little hesitant about the whole process and how things were going to be handled. I am glad to say that from the moment I called I felt at ease with this practice. The reception team were very knowledgeable, patient and attentive. I was taken through the whole process of being triaged by a dentist and what steps they have taken to ensure the dentist is a covid safe environment, and I must say that I was extremely pleased.Following the dentist triage I was booked in and undewent the treatment. From the moment I stepped into the practice I felt at ease with the recpetion, nurse and the dentist that saw me, the safety aspect of the practice was excellent and I feel safer going to this dentist than going to my local supermarket.I am now pain free and will not be so anxious and nervous about attending this dentist in the future. Thank you to all of the team at Wyke Regis dental practice.

Due to unforseen circumstances I had been unable to attend since 2017 having had nothing wrong with my teeth until now.I am now in a lot of pain and due to having not visited the practice I am informed I am no longer in their books. Numerous times I told them I was a very nervous patient and felt ridiculed uncomfortable and embarrassed. The time I need treatment only to be met with a rude rejection.

They are trying to get everyone to go private, and are not servicing NHS patients unless you are in acute pain. And even then, they give you what they call an emergency appointment but it’s a week at least away. But if you go private they get you in within 24 hours. So unless you have money you won’t get in here. And when you do go private, you get charged for PPE as well. Which Dentists get for free. Taking advantage of peoples pain is not good advert for a Dentist.

All of the staff are professional and friendly. I have had check ups and emergency treatment here and have always been treated very well. Everything is explained to me and even though it's a very busy practice I have never been rushed or had my questions unanswered.Thanks for a great service.

Always been nervous about dental care. Covid delays meant this was bigger deal than usual, but good communication and explanation with a smile was very much appreciated. Recommend.

Outstanding and professional service. After an emergency at the weekend left me in Poole hospital, my dentist saw me quickly on Monday to resolve my problem. She made me feel comfortable and put the smile back on my face. By Tuesday afternoon all was sorted. Sammie the receptionist was extremely kind, professional and helpful as well. As was the dental nurses.

My partner is (was?)registered here. Over the years he has had quite a few fillings etc ALL of which have now fell out. Some months after being fitted. The practise goes through staff like people go through toilet roll. Recently my partner broke his dentures. We contacted the practice only to be told because you haven't had an appointment here for a while we are not sure we can help you". "I will speak to my colleague and call you back". (That was Monday)...... No one called of course. I just got off the phone with them now only to be told basically "go somewhere else you ain't on our books any more". On the basis that "you haven't made any appointments since 2016". The problem is when my partner left his last appointment in 2016 NO OTHER APPOINTMENT WAS MADE FOR HIM by the receptionists. And if there is nothing wrong with your teeth why MAKE an appointment at the dentist?? But they just said "not sure what happened there"..... What happened there is your staff can't do their jobs. So now my partner has to find another NHS dentist in the hopes of getting his denture fixed. He can't even eat properly without it... GO elsewhere if you want your fillings to remain IN your teeth."

I've been seeing Jane Samways for nearly a year now, she is no doubt the best dentist I have ever seen. I've had a variety of work done and it's always been explained to me exactly what will happen and is pain free. I'm no longer worried about going to the dentist anymore. The reception team and dental nurses are all fab too, wouldn't go anywhere else.

The reception staff and nurse were cheerful, friendly and helpfull. This was my first dental appointment at the practice since moving to the area 2 years ago. This appointment was with the hygienist and went very well. Mauricio noticed that I was nervous, put me at ease and did a splendid job. My first dentist appointment follows soon and I feel very reassured at this point.
