Everything about it is amazing. The people the food all makes the place very comforting. Staff interact with their customers and include them as much as possible. 10/10 would recommend.

I'm quite fussy about fish and chips, when it's done wrong it can be genuinely awful, but along with Camp this is the best fish and chip shop in St Albans by far. Their large cod is massive and they've recently changed supplier I think because it's better than it used to be, plus it used to be skin on but now it's without the skin, which I prefer. The Camp has slightly better tasting batter but the fish is far smaller and it's the same price, plus Seaworld's chips are definitely better, so for me this is #1 in the area. My only gripe, they should change their curry sauce to a chinese style curry sauce.

This is by far the best takeaway not only local to me but inSt. Albans. The amazing atmosphere when you walk in always a friendly smile and greet, and the great service it just gets better!The quality of the food, freshness and cleanliness and generous potions sizes are unparalleled.The cod is just on another level, its how cod should be and when you ask for cod you get cod unlike the competition say no more..The lovely batter and well cooked inside non soggy lovely pieces of cod, its heavenly don't take my word for it try it!!!The taste and freshness is just excellent, the kebabs are also great and the freshly made salad, lovely not days old but fresh.This is a local gem, from the minute you walk in to when you leave with great food and a smile,, you will be back again for sure.Diego

My children love going to this chip shop as every one that works there are so happy and friendly and makes time to talk to all thier customers, i can honestly say i dont and will not go to any other chip shop , massive 10/10 from my family
