I visited the wedding room yesterday and had an amazing experience! I was helped by Lucy who was totally amazing!My parents came with me to help and we felt incredibly welcome and comfortable at the wedding room! Lucy was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and made the experience so much fun!It was such a fantastic experience from start to finish and I found my dream dress!!Highly recommend visiting this gorgeous store!

I visited The Wedding Room with my Mum a few weeks ago for my first wedding dress appointment. I didn’t really know what to expect but right from when we walked through the door, Mary immediately made us feel at ease! I picked out some of my favourite dresses to try on (they are all so beautiful!) and had the most wonderful experience of trying them on. As someone who can struggle with confidence, I found it all quite emotional but Mary was so kind and lovely! In fact if it wasn’t for Mary’s suggestions and advice I never would have found the one! A word of advice to anyone visiting - be open to trying on dresses you haven’t picked out. I trusted Mary completely to suggest any she thought I might like based on things I’d said and I’m so glad I did as I found the one and it is perfect! I also felt like I left my comfort zone a bit and ended up choosing something completely the opposite to what I ‘thought’ I wanted!Thanks Mary and Lucy for making the experience one I’ll never forget and also for making me feel really special. I cannot recommend enough and I’m already looking forward to when I can visit again!

Such a great place to try on wedding dresses! There’s no rush & they let you try on as many dresses as you like. It was an amazing experience & I found my dress! There’s no pressure to buy straight away either, we made a second appointment to try the dress on again & it was great to have another chat. Really recommend coming to The Wedding Room for your wedding dress.

Absolutely wonderful experience and such fantastic service! Mary is so knowledgeable and put me at ease. The whole experience from browsing the dresses to trying a variety of dresses on was very relaxed and we were given plenty of time to look around and try on as it is a huge commitment but there was no pressure to commit. I loved that Mary took pictures of me in the dresses and then compared them side by side to help with the process of narrowing down the dresses towards finding the one.I was so excited to go back a second time and knew this was the right bridal shop for me. I loved every second when trying on the dresses and finding ‘the one’ which is such a special moment. Thank you Mary for all of your help so far on this very exciting journey and for being so welcoming!

Well I finally found the dress today! Lucy was so lovely from the first time I spoke to her on the phone. She really put my mind at rest as I was very nervous!Not being a stick thin bride it can be such a nerve wrack experience but she made me feel nothing but comfortable.She really has so much expertise too, offering advice on things they could change or alter.I’m so glad I got my dress from The Wedding Room, it was such a personal feel and I love buying from smaller businesses too! I didn’t feel like a number, I felt special! And their showroom is lovely too! Thank you so much!

Such a great experience!I visited for the first time in early November with my mum and Lucy was so helpful and kind when I was trying on all different kinds of dresses to get a handle on which style suited me.I ended up going for the “wildcard” dress, which I was then able to show my Maids of Honour at my second appointment. Pinned into this dress by the wonderful Mary, there were lots of (positive) emotions all round, so I knew it was the dress for me! Mary also went through all the T’s and C’s right then and there, which was incredibly helpful.Thank you so much to you both! It was a lovely experience and I cannot wait to go back when everything is ready!

What a lovely lady Mary is first and foremost! My experience was quite a story and not one that I thought would happen but it was meant to be.After visiting many bridal shops I found a potential designer of dress and found Mary to be the nearest stockist. I emailed for an appointment and asked if they had this particular dress “ Raquel “ in stock. Mary had one. I was thrilled and was looking forward to my visit. Living almost 2 hour drive away I asked Mary if my sister who was visiting my poorly niece in Nottingham could pick it up (who was from Cornwall) and Mary was happy to help. Who’d have thought I’d buy a dress without trying it on! Mary was delighted to help me and it fitted like a glove. It’s the one! I then took it back so Mary could see me in it and discuss alterations, she was so helpful. I would recommend this bridal store and Mary to any bride looking. She is honest, kind and so helpful. Do it ladies, go visit!

I visited The Wedding Room earlier this year to look for my dream wedding dress for my 2024 wedding! Mary was so helpful and made me feel comfortable straight away, I was able to try on lots of different dresses in different styles but ended up purchasing a dress I spotted as soon as I walked in that was completely different than I thought I wanted! All communication has been great so far from when the dress was ordered until it arrived in store! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for their wedding dress xx
