MacDonald & Son Butchers offer a friendly professional and efficient service. It’s so nice to have a bit of Scottish food delivered to south of England. The food was very well packaged arrived on the day i picked. Everything I ordered is of high quality and the pies are full of meat, lovely pastry, and very tasty gravy.This company is a pleasure to deal and I can’t recommend them enough.

First order of mutton Scotch Pies and have got to say, it won't be the last. Absolutely delicious, well filled pies. I've got to say they are the closest to the pies I remember from years ago when I lived in Dundee. So happy that McDonald's deliver to the South of England. Thank you.

I found MacDonald & Son Butchers online, whilst searching for Scottish Haggis. After viewing the website, product information and their competitive prices, as well as contacting them via face book messenger, I was fully convinced and put in an order, including Haggis. I also ordered a breakfast pack, salt and pepper, chilli sausages and beef olives.Outstanding service from beginning to end! I was able to chose my delivery day and I received a text from UPS the day before. All items arrived packaged very well in a sturdy, insulated box with ice packs too, which kept everything perfectly cold. Each item came individually packed, with use by dates. The quality of the meat was of exceptional standard, all tasted fantastic and the Haggis was amazing!It's great to be able to order such high quality meat, from a traditional family butchers and I will 100% by from here again!

Appalling. Steak tough as old boots.Steak pies no expiry date and no cooking instructions, and finally a T bonesteak with a weird taste that made me sick. Never again-worst ever!

My order was missing 4 items. I contacted them twice over it but never received a response which has completely ruined my confidence with them. The meat was incredibly salty also

I had 2 Balmoral pies which were very disappointing they had plenty chicken but no haggis or gravy I will not be ordering again.

I received my first order today. It was VERY well packed and all looks amazing. Can't wait to try it all.The smiley face saying enjoy Susan really made me smile - made my day!

I live in manchester and wanted to enjoy Scottish pies at home (can only buy them in Scotland!) so googled and found MacDonald and son and thought would give them a go as they delivered further than their local area. Got really lucky I think! First order steak pies (single and family size) and they were fantastic. Packaging and delivery was fabulous, each pie individually wrapped and in its own box fully labelled. All packed carefully into a chilled box and delivered by UPS (you pick your delivery day). Very impressed. Ordered again steak pies, sausages and few pots of gravy - wasn’t a fluke - same excellent quality. delivery was split and I called to query if the rest was on the way - customer service was great -friendly and called me straight back to say two parcels had been split (wasn’t a problem I just wanted to check). So high quality produce- great butchers, excellent packaging and amazing customer service couldn’t ask for more - great company and pies!

I placed a big order with MacDonald Butchers. Unfortunately the delivery company did not deliver on the day specified even though the box was clearly labelled with delivery dates. Unknown to me Bobby was tracking the package and contacted me by phone to alert me , continually contacting the delivery company and keeping me updated by email. I was very impressed by his commitment to fulfilling my order. As this was fresh produce he immediately sent me a replacement order to ensure our meat was absolutely fresh. Great service and delicious food. My family loved the steak pies especially. I look forward to placing an order for Easter. Many thanks MacDonald’s.
