Great little place hidden away in tilgate park so you can walk then go for a quick bite to eat.Food was better than I expected, staff were really polite and service was fast, I think this is a definite revisit at some point.

Great litlle hidden gem in Tilgate walled garden. They have a really big outside area so will be great in the summer. The magical Xmas event is on at the moment. Awesome place to take kids. If you manage to get there during this even you must have a hot buttered rum.. They are amazing.

Could not see a menu anywhere until we finally managed to get inside the building so had no way of knowing if we would like to order food, and by the sounds of it neither did anybody else ahead of us. 20 minutes to get to the front of the moderately sized queue and order a Mocha which was pitifully small for the price (1/2 a cup), and tasted of nothing but cheap oversweet, hot chocolate. Counters and shelves looked filthy, with some shelves looking like they were covered in several months worth of dust. Staff seemed pleasant enough.

Busy cafe. Not the most comfortable place to eat but the customers all seemed happy. We shared a table. It's not the Ritz, but it's ok

Will not be returning! I ordered a crispy bacon and brie panini which arrived with the bacon barely cooked. I explained to the waitress and pointed out the menu stated ‘crispy bacon’. Waitress was lovely and took it back to the kitchen but returned with the food 2 minutes later looking very embarrassed, advising the chef said “that’s just how it comes” so I could either have it back or order something else! Just shocking and have never experienced this when paying for food! I ordered a pizza, which was not good at all - it had a tonne of jalapeños (chefs revenge perhaps) and a sparse amount of meat (salami slices halved and one per slice!). Whilst staff were pleasant, food was awful and overpriced, ‘chefs’ attitude appalling and would most definitely not recommend.

It's a great place to relax and have coffee. The staff are great to talk to and are very fast. Would recommend.

Lovely little place x hot chocolates and cake all round x was delicious!Service was very slow though despite having plenty of staff around clearing and tidying and organising..... there was only one person serving and a very long queue.Having said that though she was very friendly and doing a great job
