On a sightseeing trip, leaving a cathedral and following exit signs. We got stuck in a lobby with no exit doors available. I started to feel real gut wrenching panic in my stomach and brain. But it seemed to happen in slow motion. And I remembered my recent clean spaces coaching session with Andrew, about anxiety. So I spoke out loud about my internal experience and it started to ease. Then I gathered my resources and used them. By the time they rescued us I was as cool as a cucumber again. It was quite astonishing to notice how I coached myself away from panic to calm.
