Mimosa health and body centre, Chinese massage

An excellent experience.First of all, I need to say that I live in Birmingham. I first go to this massage shop because of my friend’s invitation. After that, I don’t want to go to massage shops in Birmingham any more.I mean there should be some good massages shops in Birmingham, just I have not yet meet up any good condition ones. One I have been to in Birmingham always over charged and one time they massage technician even hurt my neck that I couldn’t fall asleep for 3 days. I do not have many visits in Birmingham massage shops, this review is all based on my personal experience. However, since I found out this massage shop in Banbury, I feel alive again.Let me explain here.Since I found the “Mimosa Massage shop” in Banbury in the White Lion area, travelling to Oxford is the regular routine for me and my husband’s monthly leisure plan. I mean it. I remembered that the first time I been to Mimosa, the weather was 2 degree, no matter how many clothes I wear, I felt super cold. The massage room was very warm, I removed my all my clothes besides of my underwear, and face down lying on the massage bed. The massage technician she took out some hot stones to warm up my back, from my neck to my bottom, and that really warmed up my body. Later, after a discussion of how strong I want the massage to be, I mean the massage pressure, she used some massage oil to start doing the sessions.Like I said, I was super cold because of the weather, but after the 60 minutes massage, my body become so warm and I had a very good sleep that night.One month later… I took my husband to experience the good quality massage like I had. Forgot to mentioned, the first time I been there alone, because my husband suddenly been called back from work, so after he finished his job, he go to Banbury to pick me up. SO, the second time I took my husband to the Mimosa again.Unlike me, my husband, he does not like strong massage, he likes relax ones. So the owner or the manager of Mimosa massage shop, she arranged another massage technician to help my husband. And he likes the massage very much that he felt asleep during the massage session. Usually he screamed while he go to some massage shop in Birmingham - the technician there they hurt my husband’s back. Not kidding.Overall, after we met this massage shop and then we are not going to any massage shops in Birmingham any more. NO OFFENCE, just not yet meet any good ones in Birmingham. And we keen on going to Mimosa, even though we need to take a train and travel for about 50 - 60 mins every month or two months.Please, everybody, have a try and you won’t regret this.

I have been to Mimosa Massage Clinic so many times and I am pleased with the service every time.The therapists are always professional and helpful, they fixed my upper back and shoulder pain, the rooms are always clean and warm, I would highly recommend it.

Was very disappointed with this massage, I kept mentioning I had a knot behind my shoulder blade but all I got was a rub down which I could have done with a roller. Plus I had to pay extra this time round. Not very happy.

Was in town for the weekend and thought I'd give it a try. Place is under new management. Very clean and got a warm welcome. Massage was excellent. Staff are very friendly. Will definitely be going back.

I went earlier this week. What a waste of money!Firstly I was told the price for a 1 hour massage was £35 when I got there a Chinese lady told me it was £50 per hour! Then she offered my a body to body massage with a happy ending! 1/2 hour for £60! - What sort of place is this. Should have left then, but the manager offered me an hour for £40.00 so I said ok.Went to the room, clean, warm, therapist came in, again Chinese, larger size. She asked me how I wanted the massage, I said firm. She started on my upper back, and kept one the same spot for 10 minutes until it became uncomfortable. Moved on to other areas, which was ok.Finally moved onto the backs of my legs, more just pushing at points up and down the leg, then started slapping them very uncomfortable.She then climbed on the table and started on my back again. She seemed to be using her forearms, then went up and down my back with her arm pressing on the vertebrae - which is surely a no no!She started running her finger down the inside of my thighs and whispered 'do you want body to body or a happy ending?' I said no.She then did a head massage, again she had no idea, it was more painful than pleasant, i then said enough and left!
