Nothing but positive things to say about Paul Hanley at A Class. I passed my test first time a few days ago after just a few months with Paul. A fantastic instructor, calm, patient and a good sense of humour made the whole process great! I really enjoyed my time learning and I'd recommend Paul to anyone that is thinking of learning!

I started my driving lessons with no knowledge about driving, not even how to start a car! Always had been a passenger. But today, I passed my driving test (first attempt) with 2 minors. Massive thank you to my instructor Will who taught me how be a safe driver and pass. The lessons were structured, there were goals to achieve each lesson which helps track your progress. He is extremely calm and patient and very supportive. I don’t think I would pass without his help. 10/10 would recommend. All the trips to Bristol for the driving lessons were worth it! I cannot thank him enough. :)

Will has been an amazing teacher who made me feel calm and confident in driving and helped me pass first time. I had previously learnt with two other instructors and was starting to think I would never get the hang of it but the patient approach and style of lessons really helped, thank you!

My instructor was Paul Hanley and he was an incredibly good and patient teacher! His professionalism and years of experience are very apparent and I couldn't be more thankful.I started off as an extremely nervous driver, but Paul knew how to push and encourage me in just the right way, which made me the confident driver I am today. I'll be missing Paul's entertaining stories and funny anecdotes during our lessons - it has been a pleasure dealing with him at A-Class Driving School!

I can’t thank Jim enough for teaching me to drive. Before Jim I had a different instructor who made me cry daily in the car so to feel so comfortable, confident and supported was a breath of fresh air. Jim has such a welcoming smile when you first meet him, breaking the ice with his humbugs and every lesson was just pure joy! Instead of tears every lesson, we had laughter. I passed first time with 1 minor and I was overjoyed. I am truly going to miss my weekends with Jim. I have told everyone about him till I’ve been blue in the face because I honestly feel that for a first class experience with someone so professional, the word needs to be spread. Thank you so much xxx

I can thoroughly recommend A class driving school and Will as an instructor. I found his teaching style to be very patient and thorough, with lots of explanations and details on different questions I had about driving. I managed to pass first time thanks to the excellent teaching.

Will was a fantastic driving instructor. I needed refresher lessons having not been on the road for 10+ years. I was anxious about driving again as previously I had hated it but Will was patient and very knowledgeable and clear with his instructions. I genuinely didn't think I was going to enjoy it or feel happy driving by myself, but it has been a couple of months since I finished my refresher lessons and I am confidently driving daily and haven't looked back! I had Paul Hanley as my driving instructor and can’t thank him enough for helping me pass my manual test with just 4 minors! I had been learning to drive on and off over the years with not much luck on improving my confidence on the road. Paul was extremely professional and patient when teaching me how to drive by consistently explaining it’s now just about passing the test, it’s about learning how to drive. Thanks to Paul, I am free from previous nerves. I would highly recommend Paul as an instructor as he is adaptable, encouraging and eliminated my ‘driving dread’ Paul made learning to drive an enjoyable experience! Thank you again!!

I cannot recommend Will and A-Class Driving School enough! I was quite nervous coming back to driving after failing my driving test twice 15 years ago and giving up! But Will is an incredibly calm and patient instructor and made me feel that passing my driving test was more than achievable. So happy to have passed first time around this time, it’s going to make the world of difference to me and I don’t think I could have done it without such a supportive instructor. Thank you!
