I have a cockapoo, who is very nervous going to the groomers. Kate is very loving and caring towards her. Giving lots of cuddles to make her feel at ease.I think it helps being the only dog there, so Bessie gets 100% attention.Bessie always looks gorgeous and smells lovely after her grooms. Kate does a fabulous job, and have no reservations in recommending her if anyone is looking for a dog groomer

Highly recommend.Kate was great with my dog (Milo) who can be wary of new people. She took time and had patience to get him settled over a number of grooms and he is fully relaxed now. He always looks great after groom, thank you

We have been taking our dog to Kate now for over a year, and couldn’t be happier with the groom.We had been to a couple of other groomers in the area before, but they never got the groom right.Kate does a fantastic job with Winnie and she looks great every single time, and grows out beautifully.We couldn’t recommend Kate enough!Best groomer in Harrogate by far!

We found Kate after our previous grooming salon shut down, and I’m so glad we did! Our dog is incredibly friendly but nervous and very selective about whether she will let you do certain things (cutting nails are the worst!) and Kate has taken this on without any worries or excuses, slowly improving how much our fussy dog will tolerate. On top of this, our girl always comes out looking and smelling incredible. Would recommend Kate to anyone.

I have a 10 yr old springer spaniel with reduced mobility due to having significant arthritis in his back and one of his legs. Kate handles him with such care and ensures that he does not stay in positions that are difficult for him for a prolonged period of time. I cannot fault the quality and standard of her grooming and based on his behaviour, my dog seems to feel good after his hair cut too!The grooming is carried out in a clean and calm environment and parking has never been a problem. I have full confidence and trust in Kate and would not hesitate to recommend her

I was so impressed with the set up, it’s clean, modern, totally perfect for dog grooming. Kate immediately instilled confidence and assurance of her expertise, knowledge and competence as a groomer. She is professional and very amenable. Jarvis has made great progress after groom number 3 he now lets Kate trim his paws. #trust

I have been taking my dog to Heads and Tails of Harrogate since she was a puppy. Kate always provides her with the most care, as she is still young, ensuring that she is calm and relaxed before carrying out the grooming. Kate always takes time to discuss beforehand how I would like her coat to be and provides valuable advice on maintaining her coat. Kate provides a quality service and is clearly passionate about what she does. I would highly recommend Heads and Tails of Harrogate for your pet grooming needs.

Heads and Tails of Harrogate
We were extremely fortunate that Kate found room in her busy schedule a year or two ago when we were looking for a new groomer. She is excellent with our Cockapoo Alfie, not just in the way she respects and cares for him. We like the way she styles his coat, especially ensuring his face is groomed in a way which ensures his line of vision is good right up to his next 6-weekly groom. Kate has recently begun cleaning Alfie’s teeth for us, something we value too. We would thoroughly recommend Kate & her business Heads & Tails of Harrogate.
