I called about a severely neglected kitten that I'd been feeding and trying to help in my neighborhood. She'd already had a litter of her own, which I've also seen, and is pregnant again. I was told id get a call back. Left my name and number, no one called. I'm still doing my best to keep her fed. Rspca also no help.

Brilliant animal rescue service run entirely by volunteers. A group of hard working and committed people doing their best to help stray, injured and unwanted animals. In my dealings with them I have found them to be fair, honest, open minded and always doing their best to get the best outcomes for animals who have been let down by previous owners or by gaps in provision.

Sometimes, this place is great but others, you feel so pushed out. Not that I donate for my own benefit, but I donated 300+ items of clothing recently and barely got a second glace, being told to just move my pram and donations out of the way, and I've also been overcharged for items I tried to buy on multiple occasions. I have had great service there at times, but it's very 50/50.
