I don't know why there is so many negative reviews, I had a great experience! I have a 13pin tow hitch fitted to my transit van, drove in and out in the space of a few hours! Had a great experience with the very helpful staff, who helped me out on other matters, to do with my van and camping equipment! Thanks again!

Had an issue with my detachable towbar today, couldn't attach it to the car & we're due to go on a caravan holiday tomorrow. I called them & was told to bring it down, which I did immediately. They inspected it & sorted me out as soon as I got there. Brilliant customer service, friendly & helpful, I can't recommend this business too highly.

they have 1 star as I am unable to leave non! after being told my caravan needed work done that it had no need to be carried out and verbally abused and called names including a freak and told I am mental .......nice way to treat a disabled customer! a £20 tow hitch service turned into £270 job and when you are told by a member of staff you van has been road tested, with out insurance , may add or our permission either and the caravan is slamming into the tow car on breaking which then was changed from the road test was actually not done at all the damper was just a bit sloppy ! and for good measure the damper is working perfectly thank you very much and to add insult to injury they cracked a piece of plastic on my van , seriously AVOID this place at all cost,I have reported them to trading standards

Popped in to pick up an exchange flo gas 7Kg bottle, paid £35 for it and as a bit of a novice thought gas must just be expensive. Did a little research afterwards (wish I'd done this first) and found on average price is £25 - £27

Went here to have GAS bottle refilled. £40 . It's normally £15. so said No way. I did buy a small cigerette socket. £6.99 I went to dales autos in Warrington. £2. Want be returning with these prices!

Shop is a little sparse with a lot of empty shelves, feel like you're being watched while browsing (I'm one of those caravan owners who likes to look at things and think I could use that" so little room for inspiration).I asked for some technical advice which was patchy at best. Website makes them look like they are the superstore to beat all others but not the case unfortunately."

The staff weren’t particularly helpful and the prices are so far inflated it’s hard to comprehend. I needed a wheel bearing for my trailer (it was an emergency and couldn’t wait). I had to pay £35 here for a non genuine part whereas I could have bought an original part online for £12 (with free delivery). I know that online prices are often cheaper but an almost 300% increase for a non genuine part is beyond me!To say I’m disappointed is an understatement!

As a 1st time caravan owner ( novice ) I booked my new purchase in for a full service. I informed the staff at Tow Trail of my lack of knowledge of my caravan as I had purchased it from a garage at a very good price but unfortunately they had no experience of caravans.The lack of hand over knowledge was more important to me than I imagined as a 1st time caravaner,I explained this Paul and he said that after the service was completed a member of staff ( Aidee ) would spend some time with me to run through the set up of the water system, the electrics and the gas. What a wonderful thing to do, this information has been so important to me and has given me a lot of confidence and it is much appreciated.Recently I had a problem with a NO WATER FLOW problem so I went back to them and asked for help, to them it was a very simple fix, all it was that caused the problem was the external suction pipe had lost a rubber washer and was sucking in air. It was Simple to them but disastrous to me in the middle of a field. They very kindly found me 2 rubber washers £3 they could of tried to sell me a full part £30 but they were very helpful and genuine. I recommend them to everybody for a full service right down to a rubber washer including verbal help and advice. I now feel as an existing customer I have back up on my journey as a novice caravaner.Well done team & Thank you.Fred

Had a solar panel fitted here.After I ordered and paid, I changed my mind as to the specifications I required, which was clearly a bit of an issue as they had started the order process themselves.However, they looked around for what I wanted, and then changed the order for me, based on my new requirements, at no extra cost.I have also popped in with a couple of electrical problems and they were able to advise on fixes, without charging me for this.A big shout out to Ade who is the auto-electrician there - knowledgeable, and all-round top bloke!Not the cheapest shop in town, but the service is excellent!
