PureGym London Enfield

Classes are always cut short if not enough bookings or cancelled with no notice.Waste of a monthly fee as you rarely get a good full workout.I dont use the gym so can't comment on that side of things.

Went to the Enfield branch of Pure Gym Thursday 4th May for a third time to see if I was able to view the gym. There was a member of staff who gave me a tour of the gym, explained the different membership options and let me view the machines before letting me out of the exit as I'm not a member. I was impressed at how helpful the staff member was, as well as the vast amount of equipment available. l will definitely consider joining this gym, which is open 24/7, and is conveniently local to me. Third time lucky I guess.

Worse gym in whole North London. Full of ignorant underaged kids not knowing how to exercise, breaking equipment, injuring members, fighting. Staff members don’t care, weights left on the floor. Zero star, avoid this place.

At the age of 58 with health issues I was advised to by my Gp to hit the gym.The ample free parking space was the first tick of the box, the cleanness, the air conditioning which eliminated all sweating odour, the quality of the all different types of machines made me love the pure gym Enfield. Not forgetting the very clean bathrooms and very spacious gym floors.

Very well and packaged and upto great amenity for monthly charges. I would continue go there as there are many centres through out UK.

Bought a day pass as I’m visiting the area. Review is primarily of the free weights area as that’s what I use.Pros:- Lots of regular benches and dumbbells- fair range of machines/racksCons:- Hardly any barbell weights to be seen, people having to scavenge over them.- Hardly any barbell clips - I probably saw 2 sets in the whole place- Spent a bit of time on the cable machines which are Matrix brand - they are looking extremely tiredOverall not impressed and glad this isn’t my regular gym (which isn’t a pure gym either).

Good amount of equipment. However, the gym is always packed any time you go, people never put weights back or there are not enough weights for the 3 thousand people that attend everyday? The water has now run out and the female toilets are never working.

Being on the off peak £22 monthly plan is pointless if using the gym in the evening is your only option. This plan lets you use the facilities from 21:00 and it's usually packed at this time.Aside from the gym being oversubscribed, the ventilation in the place is terrible.Two stars only because it's my closest 24 hour gym and there's loads of parking - thanks to Argos being shut down across the road.

I have been a member of this gym for 15 months. It’s an easy experience, I pay £32 a month & can access the gym anytime 24/7.You get an access code & enter as you wish.The place is clean most of the time, they have a cleaner now. They have just upgraded some equipment which is nice to see. Toilets are ok, showers, lockers, changing rooms as expected.There are personal trainers, you can book a session via the app you wish.The classes start from 7am, once again, check the app.The app shows you how to use certain equipment or how to exercise from home if you cannot make it to the gym.Overall I’m happy, esp now they have upgraded the rowing machines upstairs & added some new ones & the cleanliness has improved.Parking is also available just next to the gym. It does get very busy at times. It would be fab, if they painted new lanes as the current ones are fading & the cars sometimes park a cross 2 spaces.It would be great to be approached by the PT just to find out how to use certain equipment - from time to time.
