Essential Parenting (Sleeping, Feeding, Parenting, private health visitor)

I was looking for someone who could tell me where I was going wrong for the past 8 months, and why Ferber and little ones weren’t working and thought she might implement a different routine. Instead Helen listened, explained about her four children all very different and she was totally non judgemental that I had tried CIO with no success. Instead she cut through all the details and could see our little one needed some love bombing and a new room. I was a little sceptical coming from someone who likes routines but we did what she said and our LO hasn’t had a screaming episode since. She still wakes but she’s calm and contented which is a big win. Thank helen for your wisdom and support, normalising our baby but little tips which made us all sleep a little better x

Honestly, the most honest and supportive conversation I’ve ever had with a HV. Didn’t feel rushed along in anyway & even via zoom I felt like I had all the support I could ever ask for. Helen’s instagram page is full of great advice so I always have a quick search before resorting to message her with any questions, although whenever I have night or day I’ve soon had a quick reply and been told that “you’ve got this” ♥️ Thank you

Helen is extremely knowledgeable in so many fields, she has been my go to time and time again with my 3yo and my now 7mo, from feeding support to potty training she's always on hand to give helpful advise, never judgemental never forceful just kind fellow mum to mum parting of knowledge, she instils confidence in you where you feel you may be struggling and you have a laugh together along the way. Incredible Woman glad I found her when we needed her!

Helen is extremely helpful and knowledgeable in pretty much all aspects of baby/child development. She has helped me in many ways with both of my babies from her question and answers on instagram! I would not hesitate to recommend Helen to anyone who requires advise / assistance with their baby :)

Helen at essential parenting has done nothing short of brilliant for us! We have attended two of her workshops (both were so cheap!) and she does a Q&A every Tuesday for any little buzz questions during the week for free! Have followed Essential Parenting for around 6 months now and Helen is fab. She’s helped reassure me many times, particularly as I haven’t been able to see my own HV very often due to covid restrictions. I attended Helen’s 6-12 month sleep workshop and it was incredible, really useful and very reassuring.

Helen’s post and advice on Instagram is so useful and honest. With so many parenting pages out there it’s easy to get lost and overwhelmed. With Essential parenting that is not the case. Helpful and realistic.

Helen has been an absolute lifesaver with me asking questions about my children. I emailed her at 4am in the morning absolutely beside myself with my then 7 month old screaming all night long. She was quick to respond and offered me a free call. She’s always responded to my messaged quickly and gives the best advice. She’s easy to talk to and she does love a good laugh as well.
