Great place. My mates and I decided to do a tour of all the Indian restaurants in Stroud and surrounding area and we stopped the tour as soon as we found this place. Outstanding quality, flavour and very attentive staff. I even needed to change a couple of things and also asked if they cod prepare me a dish that a) wasn't on the menu and b) made vegetarian. They did and it was heavily. We now regularly go and order our takeaway from here too.

Update 11/04/2023: Returned on learning that Zaika had regained its 5/5 hygiene rating and my husband and I enjoyed a nice meal...except for a selection of pickles which we ordered to have with poppadoms. It consisted of one small bowl of raw chopped onion and 2 yogurt-based sauces - one yellow and very mild and the other red and alittle spicy. Definitely not pickles" and not worth the money...be warned!Update 13/01/2023: According to SNJ newspaper online today

Called in spontaneously for supper. Staff were gracious and helpful,very friendly and made us feel so welcome. The food was cooked to perfection and was delicious. I noticed that they were very busy with home deliveries, when I enquired they very generous said they would do a delivery for us in the future even though we are outside of their normal delivery zone. We will definitely be back, what a wonderful find! Highly recommended to all.

Amazing curry every time! Such lovely friendly staff and you get to take your own beer! What could be better. We went for the all you can eat which was £15.95 a head absolute bargain

Very welcoming Indian restaurant. The food is very good .Very Friendly staff ...They hard a very large menu of dishes to pick from Very good quality Indian dish's. i would recommended thisPs. Bring your own Drinks as the restaurant is not licensed to severe alcohol .You just pay a small corkage fee.can be a little noise when they have a large table going

A lot of choice on the menu, maybe too much. I wish we had more piece of advice ordering. I would have like to know that the popadum with cumin seeds was not by default. I found the mango lassie too thick. Some piece of chicken in my Tikka didn't taste quite right and there was way too much tomato sauce. Luckily my friends had ordered nicer dishes and we had a lovely evening overall. Should I return, I will be more careful choosing.

Very welcoming Indian restaurant. The food is very good ... And consistent. Nice decor. Friendly staff ...and a good, quality Indian dish. Highly recommended.Ps. Bring your own booze ..tiny corkage fee. Unlicensed....saves you a fortune !Brilliant

Really excellent food, with a really interesting menu, including some little-known Bangladeshi specialities. Superb service - friendly, engaging but not obtrusive.
