Screwfix Great Malvern

Called in to buy drill bit set for work.Quick and easy. Quite good value.Some of the staff seemed more interested in chatting than picking my order. The women at the sales desk was helpful.

Management is going downhill.Express collection took 10 minutes, but 4 walk in collections completed whilst I waited.Had to point out to staff member, that they were not correct on returns policy (you don't have to wait 2 weeks whilst they send item off for repair when it breaks within days of purchase) that is on the wall for all to see.Previously my review was: Store staff are always friendly and quick on service, rarely a wait. Company has good product range and very competitive prices, price match can be tricky to get agreed - so don't count on it.

Picked up a load of loose items and left one behind. Fortunately one of the guys working there noticed and chased after me, those little touches make a difference.

We visited this store last week….to buy a step ladder. Whilst there, and totally unexpectedly, our car broke down. We were stuck…..the car had lost all power! More, I did not have my phone and my wife’s had no signal. The staff at the store were beyond wonderful. They searched for and found a local recovery company, they made us coffee while we waited for the recovery truck to arrive AND they gave our fig treats. I have been a longtime customer of Screwfix and it it my go-to for lots of things BUT on this occasion, the staff went above and beyond. Outstanding customer service …..and we were unable to buy the ladders but we will b3 back !!!

Absolutely great staff before my welfare dog passed away she go straight in under the counter and always get treats from different staff. All my orders that are made on the phone app or on line are always arriving on time. Today as I was passing I stopped in early on the off chance as I had some items that were due to arrive and be ready for midday, as it happened the delivery had just arrived but they have not sorted it out the kind lady behind the counter said if you want to go and waiting your car we will dig yours out first and I'll bring them out to the car for you 5 to 10 minutes later she came up to the window of my car past me and my stuff just as promised. Can't fault the staff always polite friendly with great service and good prices but having said that I am a retired Builder and I think I'm going to have to badger them for some discount it just doesn't feel the same going in and not bartering for a price lol. Highly recommend the place though

It's a Screwfix store and strikingly similar to other Screwfix stores. They sell screws to fix things, I have purchased many over the years. I think some of their competitors, who sell tools, are cheaper these days. Also I was told for years that there was no benefit in signing up as a tradesman other than free coffee, however I am now told that tradesmen pay less and I could have been paying less for years. So, I think I will pay less - at one of their competitors.
