We couldn't be happier with our decision to request a £250 home visit from Shane Nicholas Design. In just 10 minutes, he assessed our property and attentively listened to our concerns. Immediately, he provided a brilliant solution, suggesting we move the Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer to the hallway cupboard, taking advantage of accessible plumbing behind the wall. This small change freed up space for our bins, a problem that had been bothering us for years. Shane's advice on sourcing bins, a new hot tap, and sink made the process seamless. Moreover, his network of contacts enabled us to get a reduced rate on our stunning quartz worktops. We can't recommend Shane's amazing service enough!

I used Shane for a full kitchen design package. He was so lovely and totally professional. He listened to all my needs and spent time with me talking about my options. A great designer with a real talent for creating. Shane designed my kitchen and extension to the house. The quality of the work, materials and communication throughout the project were first class. He created a space with a ‘secret door’ to the utility room which was completely unique and kept all the unsightly utilities out of sight which was a real wow factor. The kitchen itself was well thought out and for someone like me who loves to entertain and cook, I could not have asked for more.I would highly recommend this guy!Thank you Shane.

A creative and functional designWe had a challenge with finding the right design as our kitchen area did not have much width to work with. After a couple of failed attempts with other designers, Shane found the solution that left us with both a beautiful kitchen and also a very functional space. His concept was to use a galley style design which maximised the space we did have. Shane was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. He really listened to what we wanted and then went and created a design that we loved. Shane’s attention to detail was also top class as every part of the kitchen was well thought out with an emphasis put on making this a very convenient and efficient space. Highly recommended.

We couldn’t decide quite what to do in our unusually shaped kitchen. We had a few designers round to look but nothing really stood out, until we met Shane. In less than half an hour he could envisage the perfect design for us. He wasn’t wrong! We can’t thank him enough for his design and advice. Superb in every way and has made our daily lives so much better not to mention impressing our guests when we entertain. As part of a larger renovation project Shane helped design a kitchen and create a utility room (from plan) with the style and design we were hoping for, there were no compromises. Shane went the extra mile and came up with brilliant solutions to problems that other designers had missed. Shane’s communication with me and the team on site was fantastic throughout. He was honest with time scales and delivered on time despite Covid restrictions. He also made sure he was accessible after the work was completed in case of any issues (there weren’t any). In summary, great design, superb quality, excellent fitters and well managed on site during installation.
