Welsh Mountain Zoo Car Park

I visited the Zoo recently with my Husband and 2Yr old Daughter. It's an idyllic place with beautiful scenery. It's a very open plan Zoo but not the best for Wheelchairs or Prams. On entering the Zoo you get a Zoo map free of charge and they send you off. You then have full freedom to explore each enclosure path etc at your own pace and leisure. At our recent trip some of the attractions weren't on (Lemur Lookout and Flamingo Walk-through) not sure if this was time of year or due to bad weather had in the days prior but this is available to do. They also offer daily talks and a birds of prey show (subject to weather). As well as the enclosures it has an Aligator home and reptile space. It has open gardens and has made a real effort to place trees, plants flowers around the paths to encourage natural wildlife.The animals are beautiful and its a lovely trip out for all. Best accessible via car with a big open car park, small ice cream shop and Zoo merchandise shop.
